So I just got a Rossi M92 SPL in .44 magnum. It was imported by Interarms, and the box has "Puma" on it. From what research I've done, it can be anywhere from 75-90s; however the serial numbers seem useless and Rossi has been no help in providing any info. The model number on the box, is RSR-35103
Does anyone have more info on this? Also, post your leverfuns.
>>33915758
I meant SRC, not SPL.
>>33915761
The action feels great! Not rough like what the comments online say about Rossi. Also, NO SAFETIES!

just how fucking old are you? Don't get me wrong, I'd hang out and listen to you talk about nam, but that's neither here nor there.
Anyway, I owned a 30-30, was a fun game. Was afraid it was hot so I sold it for a fifty buck profit. I wouldn't mind having a .22 levergat to load with subs with a fairly large can though. Outside of that, I cannot find a lever gun practical enough to justify by it's aesthetics alone.
Why?
Why are people recommending this handgun as a carry weapon in this day and age?
Someone. Anyone. Please explain.

If you're on a budget, and you need a concealable pistol that you can depend on, this is a great choice. It's waaay better than most budget guns out there. And it's 10839220 times better than a Tyrone classic Highpoint.
They're still relatively cheap and far superior to something like a Taurus. Made more sense back when they were $90-$150.
>>33915693
That was my 1st carry gun.
It's fine
Super thin
Not overly heavy
Enough power to be effective
I would agree that there are better choices, but it's fine.
Recently purchased funs/weapons.
(inb4 there already is a live thread and I'm retarded)
I picked up pic-related today, it's a 30-30 Winchester 1894.

Guess I am retarded, I forgot to say:
I got that sweet baby for 250, after the guy talked himself down from 300.

Very nice. I'd love a levergun. Newest acquisition, a 1964 Colt Official Police, .38 special, $430.

Good find anon. Come introduce it in the levergun thread
ISIS has invaded and infiltrated the United States. The United States government has given the go-ahead for civilians to hunt down and engage the ISIS members with lethal force, facing no legal repercussions. You decide to join the fight against ISIS here in the United States. What is your weapon of choice in each of the following settings? Rifle, pistol, shotgun? If your first choice weapon is a full auto rifle, then also state your second choice in case full auto rifles are not available.
A. ISIS members are discovered living in a standard house. Just a regular American house, standard construction and layout. They are well armed. You are going to invade the house and kill them.
B. ISIS members are camped out inside an office building. Long halls, lots of rooms, very thin walls. Your objective is to breach the building and clear it out.
C. ISIS members are camped out in a university research building. Multiple floors, lots of long wide halls, lots of stairways, a few hundred rooms, some big rooms, some small rooms. Sturdy construction, sturdy walls. Time to sneak in and take out the bastards.
D. ISIS members have turned a shopping mall into a base. Your job: Invade their base, kill as many of them as you can, and escape alive.
E. ISIS has a strong presence in downtown of a very large city. You have a squad of a dozen men. You'll be fighting in the streets and various types of buildings. What weapon do you use, and what weapons do you advise your squadmates to use?
>>33915427
A. Burn it flat and shoot them when they come out.
B. Blow it up and bring it down.
C. Set it on fire, blow it flat, then shit on the smoldering ruins.
D. See above.
E. Suppressed .300 Blackouts for everybody.
>>33915474
What if this is in the near future and you don't have access to items that are banned for civilian use, such as explosives? And what if there is valuable intel on their computers inside the buildings that must be captured, such that blowing up/burning down is a bad idea?
>>33915427
>The United States government has given the go-ahead for civilians to hunt
Hahaha, no way buddy. Maybe before Woodrow Wilson, but there is no way those Statist cocksuckers would allow civilians to defend themselves or have ANY fun. You'd probably get a trial and murder charge for killing one that was bombing your neighbor.
Be realistic, here.

It makes poorfags mad.
I always thought revolvers for concealed carry were dumb
>low capacity
>long reload
>more muzzle flash
>can't get a true thumbs parallel grip
>double action trigger pull
But... I'm starting to think about ditching my wizbang9000 for one thanks to the .357's performance out of a short(ish) barrel
>4" barrel
>125gr Korbon .357
>1477 fps
>606 ft lbs
It's makes 9mm look like a fuckin BB gun. I've taken a liking to the SP101 and Model 60. Both are pretty sexy and I'm liking the idea of the superior penetration.
>inb4 10mm
there are no 10mm pistols for concealed carry I'm really interested in.

I don't know what remains, but the armor display at Aberdeen was pretty sick a while back.
Canadian War Museum has some great unique stuff if you're into WWII Allies/NATO equipment.

So the Steyr is being shilled a lot in the new aliens movie
Is it actually any good?

>Shilled
Its just there because it looks futuristic, its a stylistic choice. No money changed hands, since Hollywood would never outright support a gun company outside of obliquely glorifying the use of firearms.
>Is it actually any good?
One of the best bullpups, for what that's worth.

its Lithgow's F90 you faggit. quite different and yes, it's god tier. go get one.

Why is the .380 usually shit on but the .32 is usually accepted as a less powerful but adequate round?
Same reason .40 is shat on constantly but 9mm gets a pass
>>33913547
I happen to like both, hell even .22 and .25 are fine, also shot placement counts

I don't know much about modern rifles but I hear Savage Axis are pretty decent cheap bolt actions, available in various calibers. Otherwise don't bother with any milsurp, the days of the good cheap shit are gone
