I wanna start learning C++ so I checked the various sites that give somekind of Teaching Scheme.

Went to CodeWars, this pops in and I can't figure out why it doesn't execute properly.
Never coded a damn thing in my whole life apart from HTML and some PHP a long time ago.

Shouldn't it be something like this?

int multiply(int a, int b)
{
int result;
a = 2;
b = 1;
result = a * b;

return result;
}

The site then goes like this:

Expected: equal to 12
Actual: 2

Another weird thing is, the "compiler" goes like this
Expected: equal to 2
Actual: 12

when I go 2*6.
>>
>>58733124
You pass numbers into a function, then define them in the function as something else. For example, if I ran multiply(3,5), I'd expect to get 15.
>>
>>58733124
why are you setting a and b
they are set in the function call

and don't open dumb threads like this in the future

A laptop, desktop, and smartphone are all PCs.

I run Gentoo on my laptop and my Nexus 5X. I loving using Qubes OS with the Gentoo hardened kernel on my desktop. I use GPU pass-through with a Windows 10 hvm for gaming, and I even managed to get audio working with a simple workaround. I get the fluid speed and lack of bloat with Linux, and the gaming performance of DX12 on one system with less than 1% framedrops from native windows.

Do the same thing that you did to turn it to English last time.

Did you buy it directly from Samsung? Makes sense that it came in Chinese because Samsung is a Chinese company!

I'm able to upload facebook profile pages through archive.is. Which means facebook doesn't think that it was a proxy / bot and doesn't even asks for captcha. It even shows the man who was logged in (!!!) to his facebook when he did a shot of pages (picrelated).

When I'm trying to archive ip-check site, it shows my own IP saying that I'm under the Netherlands proxy.

How does it even work? How is this not banned? Isn't it a huge security hole? Please explain.

Additional question: how do you think, is facebook going to ban this way of retrieving pages? Because it's potentially harmful for the security, i.e. as harmful as usual proxies, vpns and tor nodes, which are "banned" there (i.e. being asked to write the captcha).

>>
>>58732465
http proxy is http proxy
if you can't log in to facebook using this, then it is useless for malicious attacks and therefore doesn't need to be banned
>>
>>58732484
Quite interesting. I've tried to shot some facebook page by myself and it showed the same Nathan being logged in. Then question is how is he not banned for "suspicious activity"? Probably thousands of pages are being shotted by this user.
>>
>>58732484
Yes, but why are usual proxies asked to complete the captcha, and this one -- not?

Hey /g/

How the fuck can you shitters use i3? How do I adjust my volume? Why is it so ugly? Why not just use openbox?

>How the fuck can you shitters use i3?
autism

>How do I adjust my volume?
probably with some stupid config option or error-prone bash script you copy off of the project's website, like with every other dumb tiling manager

>Why is it so ugly?
because it's hurrdurr minimal and because it's not designed to integrate with any mainstream graphic toolkit.

>Why not just use openbox?
Why not just use a real DE and organize your terminal windows in tmux instead of using someone's hobby project WM and spending all your time in config files duct-taping together the basic functionality in a real desktop.
>>
>>58732328
Sure? DE suggustions? KDE has too much tearing.
>>
>>58732337
>too much tearing.

Sorry, if that's your criteria you're fucked. The tearing will go away when everyone moves to Wayland, which only GNOME has done so far. I use LXDE.
