Sorry, if that's your criteria you're fucked. The tearing will go away when everyone moves to Wayland, which only GNOME has done so far. I use LXDE.

K fucking DE can be made tear free. Depending on your GPU there are steps you can do to fix the tearing. Google it you lazy shitskin

I'm on openbox right now and it doesn't give volume option out of the box, I had to make binds with pulseaudio-ctl

openbox is as ugly ootb, you are supposed to install a theme you like to change it, like in every WM

I'm using openbox but will propably try out some tilling WM soon, because I fell for the keyboard controls meme and it really is much faster and convenient to not use your mouse
