Linux doesn't have these problems.
Not it has black screen instead

When windows 10 is running on your machine, there isn't a single thing you do on your machine or home network that isn't relayed back to MS for datamining and "user feedback".
Your "personal computer" belongs to microsoft for all intents and purposes.

That's your first mistake. A program should do one thing well.

hello /g/, I've been interested in programming for a few years now, but i never really was sure what language to start with and where to go from there?
Learn Malboge.
Start with SICP (a book called Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programming).
If you don't know simple calculus (integrals and derivatives) you'll probably have to learn it a bit beforehand.

Are you proud that one edge tab, video player and mail program can work withing 3.1 gb of ram (no info of how much is it cached/commited)?
I get bullied on this forum sometimes for my chair.
The ass sinks into foam thats
soft, and the legs are supported by the front and side cushions.
The lower back area has three individual adjustable cushions.
And its all done by electric pumps, ive recharged the battery maybe once a year, since nothing needs to be inflated or adjusted.

Why aren't you using Edge, /g/?
no webms, also you have to sign in to the store to install extensions
>>60262363
No support for extensions when it first came out = ruined any chance later on.
Used to and like Chrome and Firefox more.
No webms.
Cause reasons.
sudo apt-get install edge
something happened :-(
Do you know how many internet/email accounts you created?
Do you keep passwords of this accounts in books or something like this?
Do you aware how much digital footprint you made?
Mine is so fucked up.
>>60262232
>Do you know how many internet/email accounts you created?
Probably 30 active accounts over 5 domains, quite chaotic.
>>60262232
>Do you keep passwords of this accounts in books or something like this?
KeepassX
Most are simply saved in my Thunderbird installation. My hard drive is encrypted however.
>>60262232
>Do you aware how much digital footprint you made?
Some embarrassing incidents on IRC many years. I still fear someone has the logs and releases them one day.
I have one old hotmail with undeleteable and never used accounts like moddb, steam(with no games) and mostly stupid like this. Should i just delete my hotmail? I never used my real identify in these accounts.
>>60262232
4-5 emails, dont know about internet accounts, I keep passwords in my head. I'm aware of how much of a digital footprint I make, but I'm not that paranoid about it.

how legitimate are those programs that claim to increase your cores?
I know physical cores can't change but what about virtual cores? can I actually get more than 2? there's a program out there I was thinking of downloading to do this but idk
>>60262224
>how legitimate are those programs that claim to increase your cores?
It's a lie. The only thing that can increases the number of "virtual cores" (the name is threads) is hyperthreading / SMT (Simultaneous Multi Threading), which are hardware based solution. As in, it has to be included inside of the CPU itself when it is made.
>>60262171
What's the no AMD for Linux thing?
AMD Linux drivers have gotten so much better. And Nvidia has been trying to prevent GPU passthrough on Linux lately for some fucking reason.
I'm running AMD on Linux and seems fine. What am I missing?
1080Ti for 4K @ 60 is loaded, too. It only does that on a small, small handful of games maxed. Usually it's in the 35-45fps range maxed, so you have to turn down settings as similarly noted for the RX580 at 1440p.
>i7-7700k for high 144hz framerate but heats a lot.
Is also confusing because many game engines simply won't go that fast like FO4. For those that can, the 1600 at 4GHz does 144hz just the same.
It's hard to list something for the 7700k which everyone will consider unbias, but still.
Just dusted mine.... it's now almost completely silent! Removing dust from fans makes a huge difference.

>>60262315
Clean people don't have a roach infestation anon.
>>60262315
time to buy some roach poison...
How do you deal with this shit?
When you made a code based on your own algorithm, along the process you realize it would be better if you made some changes.
I'm sure you know what I mean.
The thing is there are so many things to change at some point I get lost and lose track of the changes I want to make so many thing going on in my head I even go numb.
I failed my first exam when I started classes and this problem is still here.
>>60262140
You'll get better at it eventually. Or you won't. Who knows? I can keep track of multiple changes across 20,000+ lines of code projects but then I'm turboautism incarnate.
