It's a very stable operating system. Unfortunate that a fresh install has you hunting down google search results for hours so you can disable shit like the built in virus scanner (which murders older machines) and telemetry, and of course, cortana.

The Windows 10 LTSB branch only gets security updates, no feature updates. OS upgrades can be deferred for up to 10 years. I can't figure out how to upgrade the OS through Windows Update, maybe you can't so for OS upgrades you should use the MS in place upgrade tool or just download the latest ISO from MS and run setup. Note that there are only two versions of LTSB right now, 2015 and 2016. This branch doesn't get upgrades as often as the regular ones.

Been using 10 since it came out. No problems to speak of apart from being botnet. It boots fast, runs fast and uses less disk space and memory than Windows 7. The thing has never even crashed on me. Only complaints are the retarded updates that reboot your computer in the middle of the night but the always happen on Tuesdays so you can at least plan for it.
