I work with PCIe Non-Transparent Bridges. Basically, you have a bunch of adapter cards that reads PCIe transactions on the slot and sends it out on an external cable, and then it is converted back on the other side. Since the two systems use different address space, the NTB can be programmed to do a simple address translation (basically, when a PCIe transaction is forwarded across it, it just looks up in a table and replaces the address). This means that one system can map (parts of) a remote address space into its own.

Realistically speaking if i get a 1070 and plan on only playing in 1080p or even lower ( I play mostly on my TV which is far away and i can't see the fucking text and hud text in most games because its so fucking small so i have to put a lower resolution even tho my vision is perfect)how long would it last in terms of playing games in high quality with a decent (40-50+)fps?

That's not how resolution works, you mong.
1070 will work for basically any game at 1080p/60fps. Just don't do anything retarded like buy an i3 CPU or 4GB of RAM.

WarFrame: 90-150FPS (max)
DOOM: 150-200FPS (max)
I've only tested a few games, but basically I only use the 1080p60 monitor. It's fine enough for me and should be for years on years.

What are you saying and were are you getting your info from?
If you have a 24" 4k dell monitor it will look better than another dell 144 monitor running DSR.
DSR smooths the virtual pixels, it doesn't make more physical pixels.
Also something to bare in mind, games are just starting to make 2k textures.
