I mean, I am most certainly a computer illiterate retard, but still I never had such problems on 95/98/XP/7 ever before. Windows 10 was a mistake.
Please wait. They are getting things set up for you.

Install Debian with XFCE.
What's up with 2nd/3rd world countries and iPhone? Don't they know what being gullible is? ("saving up for an iPhone")
It's not even good of a phone spec wise and price to performance either.
Uhhhhhhh
That hurts my white supremacy
>>61022664
It's a "status symbol" of sorts.
I know it sounds retarded that someone who can barely afford food would save up for half a year to buy an overpriced status symbol that Apple has a 70% profit margin on but that's how it is.
>>61022664
Its a status symbol for those who think being a nigger or american is the coolest thing ever and would do anything to be more like one.
Master volume knob on my analog synth broke, now it's always at lowest vol. Is there a way I could bypass that potentiometer for at least full volume?

I have been using legacy boot since I was born, am i missing anything? Just got a new SSD, wondering if its worth taking the UEFI road this time. Is it true that UEFI is used as a backdoor by cianiggers? What do you use /g/?
>>61022452
You're probably just bullshiting and are poor. If your mobo still has legacy bios on it then it's time for an upgrade. Also make sure you're using a modern OS with the SSD.
>>61022478
anon, they did have uefi support, i just didnt set it up because autism..
>>61022521
I didn't know there were mobos with a bios/uefi switch.
Does /g/ know basic arithmetic?
IPhone is flat out wrong here no matter how you twist it

That's just fucking retarded. Phone doesn't know order of operations.
Oh god white ppl dont know how calculations work
Whats the absolute cheapest but silent PC case that will not cause my mid/high-end PC to blow up inside because of the temps? I saw some nice ones but holy fuck spending $300+ on a case when my PC already costs a fuckton for me. Maybe you, my tech overlords, could help me?
I use this one. Don't regret it at all.

>>61022413
Thanks, i am tech illiterate tho. Does it have fan's already "pre-built" or do i have to buy them separately?
>silent PC case
last I checked metal/plastic panels don't make noise.
What you're after is vibration mounts for the moving parts within the case, which is typically fans and any hdds you have.
Noctua fans are nice and quiet, and come with anti vibration mounts, but are expensive.
Why do ifags praise thier shitty iPhones? This shit looks ancient next to an s8.

If the s8 had a vag, I'd creampie it

>The Library of Babel is a place for scholars to do research, for artists and writers to seek inspiration, for anyone with curiosity or a sense of humor to reflect on the weirdness of existence - in short, it’s just like any other library. If completed, it would contain every possible combination of 1,312,000 characters, including lower case letters, space, comma, and period. Thus, it would contain every book that ever has been written, and every book that ever could be - including every play, every song, every scientific paper, every legal decision, every constitution, every piece of scripture, and so on. At present it contains all possible pages of 3200 characters, about 104677 books.
>Since I imagine the question will present itself in some visitors’ minds (a certain amount of distrust of the virtual is inevitable) I’ll head off any doubts: any text you find in any location of the library will be in the same place in perpetuity. We do not simply generate and store books as they are requested - in fact, the storage demands would make that impossible. Every possible permutation of letters is accessible at this very moment in one of the library's books, only awaiting its discovery. We encourage those who find strange concatenations among the variations of letters to write about their discoveries in the forum, so future generations may benefit from their research.

interesting, but how is this /g/ related

Now that Techpowerup is being paid to spread false news, are there ANY reliable tech sites left?
They have begun to be a little shady over these past months but this is it, this is the turning point for them.
/g/, where the fuck do you go to be at least a tiny bit informed of the computer world?
Pic related, just look at that fucking misleading shit.
Whats the problem? rx560 is faster than 1050 but not as fast as 1050ti. That clock speed bump and full shader unlock helped a bunch.
>>61021923
https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/amd-radeon-rx-560-vs-gtx-1050.234169/
Isnt it common knowledge that the RX560 sits between 1050 and 1050ti?
The new i9 series are just overclocked i7s with huge power consumption and heating issues.
>"I didn’t believe it at first, but the Core i9-7900X is using more than 70 watts additional power than the Core i7-6950X!"
>"But woe, if you have all the cores really work out properly! With Prime95 and Luxrender on all cores for the Core i9-7900X, we have determined absolute peak values for the power consumption. The Core i9-7900X achieves remarkable 48% more performance in the render score (Luxrender, console), but also takes up 58% more of the electrical power! This is almost the famous blue breaking bar."
>The system ran stable with 1.4 Vcore in 10 runs and the CPU took an average of 261 watts. Single peaks, however, were load-dependent at up to 293 watts, which is very close to the limit. A test carried out at 4.8 GHz with 20 instances of a shading-all-year calculation for a complex photovoltaic roof system including a yield calculation allowed the power consumption to rise to 335 watts. When starting Prime95 without AVX limitation then switched off the mainboard. The last, still logged value was 364 watts."
>"The real reason is Intel's incomprehensible fun brake in the form of unsuitable (but probably much cheaper) heat transfer paste instead of a sensible solder."
>"Up to 65 ° C Tcore with a heat spreader temperature of approx. 24 ° C results in a delta of more than 40 ° C. We reached this value with a power loss of just under 230 watts. As soon as you move above the 300-watt limit, which can be reached even with simple rendering programs from 4.6 or 4.7 GHz and the necessary voltages (depending on the chip quality), the chiller is hardly anything. At the maximum values of 300 watts reached by us the CPU is already permanently thermal limit of 100 ° C, shortly thereafter comes to the consequential shutdown."
Overclocked CPU couldn’t even be cooled with a $1000 compressor cooling solution.
