my 1pl8lmao bench has stalled for such a long time and i dont know what to do, my friends

You must eat. You must eat food.

Whenever I eat

Inbetween workouts

Whenever I eat more than usual

My bench improves

WHenever I eat the same or less

My bench stagnates

You must eat enough food and get enough protein

That is the key

Also more sets, if you're only doing 3 or 4, try doing 5 instead.

Just eat enough, and of course, get enough sleep

Then your recovery will be more efficient.

SO to summarize, eat enough food, aka enough calories, and get enough protein. Then you should see progress. Remember, the gym is only one part of getting ripped, eating enough, eating right and sleeping well is the second.

Start with form, record yourself on phone and watch it back,compare it to youtube vids or post it online for critique.
Common mistakes are twisting wrists inwards, flexing them too far back, torquing torso around usually when one side is weaker, not using leg drive or your chest to drived the weight up.
A lot of newbs use their shoulders to push the majority of weight along with triceps.

If your 1pl8 is good but are struggling to get the next 2.5kg etc then try ramping up your reps or sets on bench for a week or so

Try some different exercises such as incline, close grip, db etc
Some area may not be getting activated on your flat bench

Another technique is to load the bar with 10-15kg heavier than you want to lift and hold it there, then re rack and replace with what you want to lift. it will feel much lighter.

Eat less, exercise more. There's no magic trick that will undo a lifetime of poor discipline and lifestyle choices in a week or a month. Consume half of your tdee, walk 5-10 miles a day, do some sets of basic leg exercises daily, and it'll start coming off eventually.

Can anyone point me to that Norwegian study, there were two groups of lifters (one did 2 training sessions and another did 7 per week). And group which trained everyday have made twice strength of the 2 sessions per week group and significantly increased mm.

Odd question, but how many calories do you think are burned playing an hour intense fighting games?

I recently got sucked into playing a fighting game for 23 consecutive hours and while i don't exactly plan on adding it to my daily routine i cant help but wonder how many calories are burned from 23 hours of rapid finger movement.

Video games are made to be addicting. They have actual people who's only job is to design a system that is literally a drug. The game gets you addicted just like heroine. It's fucking evil.

Look at yourself if you don't believe me. You just spent 23 hours sitting, looking at a screen. That's not normal behavior.
Vidya should be something you do with friends/family as an actual game but in the virtual world for an hour or so.

I've talked with plenty of addicts during my career and I've researched how video games affect people, the addictive behaviors are exactly the same as someone that's using heroine or cocaine.

This isn't a joke, look it up if you don't believe me. Stop playing video games, stop watching TV. There's a reason everyone is so unhealthy these days and our sedentary lifestyle is a big contributor. It's way more enjoyable to go out with friends and do something.

Honestly i almost never play video games anymore and i just picked it up out of boredom.

yeah, 2 actually, both were chad af, had huge muscles with barely lifting any heavy weights.They were both doing bro-splits with DB press 12.5kg and DB flat bench 15kg but were waaaay more attractive and aesthetic than your average person(including me). They don't take juice but they were just blessed with a chad face and a chad body and it hurt a little inside desu, but what are you gonna do. At least my work gives me a bit of value which keeps me going. If I were a worthless neet and saw them I'd probably just end it right then and there.
