These two shows were created by the same person. Which one did you like more and which one do you think was more popular?
>>94719308
I haven't seen either of them, but I'm going to guess right one is more popular.
I never watched Tutenstein, but Secret Saturdays was great. V.V. Argost was a terrific villain.
Tutenstein was probably the bigger hit. It was one of Discovery Kids big shows and even got an important special.
Jay Stephens said The Secret Saturdays didn't do well in focus groups because kids thought it was actually an old cartoon. They literally thought it was Johnny Quest old.
How good were the comics?
Like any comic, there were good ones and bad ones. Do yourself a favor and look up "Back To The Klondike".

Bark's Donald Duck was #7 on The Comic Journal's top 100 comics, and Uncle Scrooge was #20
Good.
Voltron Legendary Defenders: If they intend on stretching the show out for eight seasons what are the chances of them introducing villains beyond Zarkon and Lotor?
First for dapping
then we get into cross overs anon

They'll probably elaborate more on the space meth creatures from dimension Z and make them the final boss.
What are the best teen X-Men books?
I read the original New Mutants run and just started this one and really enjoy the comics that are just about students at the school getting into shenanigans and aren't superheros trying to save the world.
Non X-Books that are like that are also welcome, been meaning to check out Gotham Academy.

that New Xmen run is great, unfortunately it implodes during a storyline involving the return of magik, then Hope shows up and everything in the x universe goes to shit
then a bunch of stupid writing decisions happened
then Wolverine and the Xmen came out (which despite it's name wasn't all about wolverine and focused a lot on the students), and that was pretty good if you can ignore the backdrop of the utopia schism
then after that all the good teenage xmen characters were discarded when marvel went crazy
now we live in the dark times
however, if you go back a couple of decades, the New Mutants had some good stories (even if the art was a bit wonky at times) also Generation X had some good times
outside of marvel,
if you are in the mood for campy fun, Young Justice has its charms (it's a lot more campy than its cartoon show counterpart)
if you are in the mood for dumb sexy fun, Gen13 and DV8 exist (probably better for a 13 year old boy mindset)
that's all i can think of, hope it helps

New Mutants v1 by Claremont keeps being the best. Simonson's part is clearly inferior, but there are still some good parts, before she decides to go all dark and depressing
The first couple of years of Generation X is great, then it turns into garbage
New Mutants v2 is ok. It improves when it turns into Academy X, especially with the Hellion mini.
New X-Men: the first issues are terrible, but the Magik Quest part and its epilogue is one of the greatest things to come out of the X-line
Generation Hope by Gillen is underrated. Good read, until a new writers takes over afet Schism.
Wolverine & the X-Men.. Let's just say that if you like the New X-Men, it's very annoying.
Spider-Man and the X-Men: very fun read, but you have to deal with totally OOC adult X-Men
>Julian McMahon, who played Doctor Doom in the 2005 Fantastic Four movie and its sequel, has now been added to the cast of Marvel and Hulu's Runaways TV series as a mysterious character named Jonah
>Doctor Doom was initially believed to be Victor's father
>Vision went under the name of 'Jonas' for some time in the comics
Is he connected to Victor Mancha?

Tommy's going to need help.
From old acquaintances and new.
Basically, anyone who is available.
This is-
Ennis & McCrea's Hitman (and others) Thread #3
And here we go...
Got something going on later, so started the thread early to not miss it!
https://mcuexchange.com/imax-shortening-inhumans-theatrical-run/
Long story short, IMAX theaters have the option to run the Inhumans episodes for 2 weeks, and many theaters are deciding to reduce the time in theaters for the premiere episodes.
In summary, nobody is buying tickets, and IMAX wants out.
Haw haw! Suck it Perlnutter.

Didn't thisthread get made yesterday or was it about how cheap Ike was with his '''dream''' project
>>94718113
That was about the director of the Scorpion King 3 Direct to DVD movie working on Inhumans with a schedule like 2 episodes in 20 days.
Well this episode sure got relevant again fast.
>>94717928
how
>>94717928
I remember that episode, it was great.
You know there just coming now because this just got revealed late last night early this morning. Goku's new form he gets sometime during the Tournament of Power.
"The Work of Gods Ends Here !!"
Goku was made in Japan.
Superman was made in America.
America kicked Japan's ass in World War 2 and even to this day Japan considers America it's superior.
Ergo, no matter how many "forms" he gets, Superman will always beat Goku.
I'm wondering what do you all think of it.
Also do you think it should have stayed as it is or should a sequel have been made?
It was one of the best animations in NG at the time. Both in animation quality and script.
Last month I flew with Ethiad airways and the video where they use cartoons to teach safety instructions was made in a very similar way to this cartoon. I still wonder if it was commisioned to the actual animator from Tarboy.
>The working name for the line was "Beast Hunters" before it became "Beast Machines." Marv Wolfman created the original treatment. A Fox Kids press release said the following about it:
>BEAST HUNTERS, the next evolution of the popular Beast Wars franchise, continue their fight against the evil dragon Megatron and his hordes of Predacons in 13 all-new episodes with cutting edge computer animation, action, adventure and humor, produced by Mainframe Entertainment.
>Ultimately, Mainframe dropped the Predacons. The Vehicons in place of Predacons was the idea of Mainframe's writers, the spiritual and mystical parts of the plot were a request from Hasbro, and the basic arc was Bob Skir's idea following suggestions from Hasbro, Mainframe, and Fox Kids
>the spiritual and mystical parts of the plot were a request from Hasbro
What the hell was Hasbro thinking? Was spiritualism and mysticism a big trend among kids in the late 90s/early 00s that I somehow missed?

Anon, remember this super-forgotten old cult classic? I don't blame you, it was pretty obscure.
>>94719139
Actually now that you mention it, that's a good point. I never understood the fixation with that movie nerds had at the time and largely have forgotten it completely
>>94719139
Matrix was great. The sequels not so much.
Why aren't we having a Launchpad thread right now?
Because he is worst boy
>>94717073
You take that the fuck back.
He is best boy.
>>94717073
Who's the best boy, then?
Your honest opinion
>>94716951
I honestly think you suck.
>>94716951
Much better than the movie it was based on.
My question now is whether or not we may see something like this for monsterverse
>>94716951
A good cartoon
Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind... or forgotten. /co/ - my frends are here!
