I'm following one korean twitter artist on tumblr who posts bottomShiro w/ TopKeith content and who also reblogs from her friends. It's nice, but limited since the fandom is big but they have such shit taste. I think the problem with sheithfags is they project themselves onto Keith too much and always focus on how soft he looks around Shiro. Klance also has this problem and we've had Klancefags complain about how it's always about Lance and a good chunk of it is ooc. With sheith, a good chunk of it is just so boring since it's either pre-kerebos, keith is trans, general boring storyline, topshiro x bottomkeith porn. It drives me crazy anon. It's a mixed bags. Some parts of it are actually really good and fun. It just has some weird pacing problems. Also some people had HUGE issues with the fact that there wasn't really a clear villain or hero in the story.
Also there was massive salt over which characters ultimately wound up dying and which survived.

As for the art: Award winning mangaka Itoh Yu did the character designs, but the team really didn't do a good job of adapting them into animation.

Personally I liked it for Gaelio, Atra and some of the side characters and don't regret watching it for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, current theory is that S1/S2 Shiro was a clone of the original Shiro, and they were monitoring him the whole time as part of some "you thought you were winning? We've been 10 steps ahead of you" plan. Then once that clone disappeared, they put the footage they recorded as "memories" into Kuron, whilst Lotor is observing.

That just seems crazy. They had no idea that Ulaz would free Shiro, had no idea that Shiro would run into Keith and the others and bring them into outer space, had no idea that Shiro would end up piloting the black lion. It's crazy because Shiro could've easily said "fuck it" and lived a normal life on earth.

Yes, but consider that Lotor doesn't like his dad and had his own forces. Some of those forces might have been spies or sabotuers planted into Zarkon's forces to disrupt his operations somehow. Operation Kuron would be secret, swap the original Shiro for a clone, so well-hidden that even Ulaz was fooled. Lotor would've wanted his father to fall ill, he wants to prove how effective his methods against voltron are. I wouldn't put it past him to allow an attack on the empire's flagship in order to usurp the throne.
