the fuck is a buster brown?
Buster Brown was a comic strip character created in 1902 by Richard F. Outcault. Adopted as the mascot of the Brown Shoe Company in 1904, Buster Brown, his sweetheart Mary Jane, and his dog Tige, an American Pit Bull Terrier, were well-known to the American public in the early 20th century.
Buster Brown is a young city-dwelling boy with wealthy parents. He is disturbingly pretty, but his actions belie his looks. He is a practical joker who might dress in a girl's outfit and have her wear his clothes, break a window with his slingshot, or play a prank on a neighbor.

Supposedly it aired in Australia earlier in the week. But I haven't been able to find any proof for its existence.
Why did Zim hate humans so much? He barely even knew any of them.
>>94732954
because 1) his creator isa sociopath (like many artists)
2) he wanted to pander to teenage girls who have trouble socializing because they're ugly and nobody cares about their shit

There is a huge difference in their evil plans. Mojo wants to take over the world. I doubt HIM has any intentions of taking over the world. I think he just wants to destroy it.
>>94732870
HIM is a trickster, he wants to torment it for eternity. Your comprehension of morality is too primitive even for a normie.
Mojo is an egomaniac who thinks he deserves to rule the world.
HIM is a demon who has no interest in the world except to entertain himself.
I think HIM is more interested in making the others suffer.
Why does the new Jetsons live action sitcom look like a brazzers parody?
probably not far off actually.

Money on Rosie looking humanoid.
That moment when you realize that we'll probably never see her again.
unfortunate

Looney Tunes could use a few female characters in its lineup.
Then again, Looney Tunes in general is irrelevant now anyway so...

New 52 Thread
What did you think? Good and bad.
And is it safe to say that Aquaman benefited from it the most?
>>94732334
New 52 had a good start despite some shitty misses but then they tried to appeal to the voices of the internet despite the fact that sales were still good which resulted in a lot of awful regurgitated stories. They still always had some truly great stuff being published though.
Great overall.
The only characters that really suffered through the entirety of the era was the Teen Titans.
Starfire is considered one of the giant examples of a misstep of the N52 but the complaint is only valid for basically the 1st issue of RHATO and they quickly fixed her problems & made her a bad ass space comanderess in the 1st Blackfire arc.

Man I remember how hard they tried to push this show. So sad to see it flop so badly.
>Relax, Snyder. I'll take it from here.

What do you think of this trope?
I usually hate it, but it made sense here

They kinda fucked up at the end though, it would've been better if Vanellope didn't end up being a princess.

Or if she came to power though something other than birthright, maybe she learns to vilian from Ralph and becomes the "evil" candy queen
Where did this seemingly universal standard of cyborg limbs in comic books being muscular chrome human limbs with black contour line banding on them, and the fingers sometimes having rubber band looking things on its joints?
Cable, Winter Soldier, Deathlok, Doc Ocks arms, Iron Man a number of times, KGBeast i believe once, not necessarily robotic but Colossus as well.
>>94731422
>Where did this seemingly universal standard
*Where did this seemingly universal standard originate
missed a word
>>94731422
robot stuff drawn by people that suck at drawing robot stuff
so they draw a normal arm and then put some lines on it
>>94731531
This. Comic book artists can only draw generic female model and generic male model. Anything even vaguely outside of those is far too much to deal with. And hell, most of the time, the factory standards look like shit anyway.
