Tried playing a worm oneshot using paranoia's system for mutant powers. It was pretty good.

If you do, watch this version of The Hobbit:

The official DVD release is missing 90% of the sound effects in the film. This version restores them. There's one short section at the beginning where the audio is desynced, but otherwise it's the best way to watch the film.

Also, The Hobbit is the only film you would probably want to watch with young kids. Bakshi's LotR might be too frightening, and the Rankin-Bass RotK would be too confusing.

I'm not a huge fan

Largely I can chalk it up to not being a fan of rotoscope animation anyways, and finding many of the design and character choices distasteful. I hated the look of Aragorn, I fucking loathed Sam (despite him being my favorite character in the series) and the Balrog made me fucking laugh

iirc season 4 was pretty alright. probably around season 6-ish was where it was at it's worst.
People have led me to believe that after the movie the show was so bad it was as if it got possessed by satan, yet nothing in the show has really offended me like others have claimed though.

Are you sure it isn't just nostalgia goggles? There's plenty wrong with post-movie spongebob, especially season 7-9. Flandarization in massive excess, adhd plots (yes I realize this has always been a part of Spongebob but in the later seasons there is literally no coherency or consistency) over-reliance on gross out humor that isn't even funny, screaming and screaming and screaming etc
