It's been growing for a while, though... I think the writers are just running out of ideas and are using the cancer as a desperate "hey guys! you should be emotionally invested in this"... More than anything, it shows how inexperienced the writers are.

I just hope /sci/ makes it okay.

I was looking at swords as I was becoming more into HEMA and European history, but an okay sword, like the one I posted in OP is 200-300 dollars and high end reproductions with modern steel are 800-1200 dollars. Trades are like, 15-20 bucks.

It was supposed to be a direct to DVD or TV movie (forgot which one) called Arnold Saves the Neighborhood (Jungle Movie was planned to be the theatrical release). Normally, TV/DVD movies have very similar production values to the shows they're based on.

However, Nick, for unknown reasons moved the thing up to be a theatrical release and it's failiure kept Jungle Movie from being produced for over a decade.

The only explanation I could give for the shading is that it was applied in a rushed manner to the MCs in order to give the entire thing a more theatrical flair than the TV show.

The Jungle Movie was subject of constant delays and kept getting pushed back, so that's why they moved up the Arnold Saves the Neighborhood film instead.

People that never read Batman before and got into comics because of the Nolan pictures love Snyder's run, i guess its ok if you've never read a decent Batman story arc before, Snyder basically wrote it for his kids.
I though his All Star Batman was an improvemnt desu.

Its kind of a circular logic that seems to effect female things for some reason. Books, shows, movies, toys..

>boys buy more toys than girls and aren't likely to buy girl characters
>girl characters don't get made
>people complain about a lack of girls
>Intentionally make shitty girl toys that suck and are badly promoted
>toy flops
>use that as excuse to not spend more money on girls
>Make only boy toys

Hopefully the success of this and Force Awakens convinces people to make female oriented stuff that doesn't intentionally suck so they no longer have an excuse to justify laziness

Basically the wrong people were put in charge of bad scripts for the handful of decent female superheroes they had to work with. Someone who knows what they're doing given a more well known character has succeeded in what should not have been hard, but which the rest of the industry's incompetence has made look hard.

Now that the most well known female superhero has had a good movie they can make stuff about smaller lesser known characters, or more recent characters.
