Platinums, Blondes, Redheads or Brunettes /co/?
Blonde > Red > Black > White
Anyone who disagrees is a pleb with shit taste who should neck himself.

Blond is king pleb you bimbo loving douche.
I recently been reading USM where I'm at about issue 92 and ASM at about issue 6. I saw a reading guide on how to read Spider-Man in detailed order on reddit, but it seemed like a hassle to flip flop through all these comics to get all the history and lore like the comic where I guess MJ knew Peter was Spider-Man since he flew out the window or something or similar stories. Are all of these important? Like Web of Spider Man, Spectacular Spider-Man etc.?
>>93835693
It was an unfortunate reality of comics in the late 80's and early 90's that they would get you to buy multiple books by doing shit like that for the big characters (Spider-Man, X-Men, Batman, Superman).
So yeah, it is a hassle, but it also happens to be one of Spider-Man's best eras so it is worth the effort.
>>93835950
I'll try, I guess it was even harder to find comics back then. Just wish there was an easier way to consume all this content.
Spider-Man was good up until Gwen's death. Then it all went downhill except some MJ stuff, and The Last Hunt.
Was this an accurate portrayal of Kanye West?
>>93835686
Since it was to signify his ego, yes, yes it was.
Accurate enough that Kanye himself was deeply affected by it, to the extent that he raps about it to this day.
>>93835705
>to the extent that he raps about it to this day.
But he only mentions it once in a song in MBDTF 7 years back
"Chock a South Park writer with a fishstick"
How can anyone defend this abortion?
>>93835669
Are people defending it?
Intriguing concept that relies on execution. How can Batman be the bad guy?
>>93835669

ITT: Transformed versions of a character that are cooler than the normal version.
Or: Transformations you wish had stuck.
>>93835215
I like it when a character is turned back to normal, but there's a hint that they kept some physical and/or psychological elements from the transformation
>>93835215
I wonder if the design was some kind of tribute to Maleficent
>>93835215
That's not fair though, dragons are always cool.
Do you prefer the Riddler to being willing to kill civilians, or no?
>>93835145
I'm ok if he is willing to kill villains if batman or whoever fails one of his riddles/tests but I'm not ok with him just killing people for no reason. Johns Earth One riddler is a bit of a tricky one for me as he does kill a lot of people but he does it out of anger because batman solved his riddles rather than just because. In saying that I'm not ok with any batman villain killing for no reason outside of the penguin since all the other main rogues have clear motives and reasons when they kill usually.
>>93835145
I like Eddie best when he's riddlin' and not so much killing. I think he's at his worst when he's being 'psycho'.
Without killing
Someone please tell me what's going on.

Well, it started when he called them wacky.

I swear I've seen that exact logo font on nearly every movie made in the past 10 years.
Btw here is the 2nd movie.
Oh no
It looks like garbage
Some tv spot that someone capped

I'll wait until we actually see the animation before I make any judgments
lots of Marvel books seem to get forgotten these days
let's see how it is
maybe doing a few other titles if anyone wants
I liked this title as a kid
not a big fan of the line-up though
both Aaron and Bendis' X-Men kinda fucking suck
also Quentin is just the worst
fuck him
Morrison sucks
so last time we left them, they were like chasing some mystery monster in a park, Scooby styleee

I write for fun after work. I do it for myself. Maybe one day I'll actually finish something and make a cool novel.
At one point, I had some extra income and I decided it would be super cool if I found an artist to draw out some of my characters. It was insanely cool what they came up with after I described them.
Time passed, I moved onto another idea, then another, then another, repeat for 2 years.
I've lost my comfy job, so I haven't really been in the mood to be creative and I'm even more bummed I don't have the funds to pay an artists for more cool stuff.
I'm currently internship, ugh, for free, ugh, I'm not a high school student God fucking dammit, but it's with a comic publishing studio here in LA. They are kinda big in the scifi world and are huge in Europe.
It JUST hit me, why the fuck don't I pitch my idea for this novel I was writing and show them the art, which I think would make a pretty sick looking comic, more so than a novel (only cause the idea is kinda big and I was running out of steam trying to write out every little thing). As a drawn out media, this idea would be pretty cool.
So first of, San Diego Comic Con is next week, and would it be a good idea to print out my artist's pieces, very clearly say it's not my art, but my idea? How do I sell myself as a hack writer who doesn't even have a full short story written out, but has a very solid idea and has an artist up my sleeve?
I looked up on Google "How to make a comic book idea pitch" so I can ask my company if they would take my idea. Think this is a "Fortune favors the bold?" type of situations? I mean I guess the worst they can say is no, wtf, you're not a writer, your in sales, stick to that.
>>93834880
No clue. Wish you well though. Rooting for ya.
>>93834880
>I mean I guess the worst they can say is no, wtf, you're not a writer, your in sales, stick to that.
So was PAD and he crafted a landmark story for Spider-Man that is still considered one of the characters greatest stories. He also completely revitalized The Incredible Hulk, doubled its sales and even got an Eisner. You've definitely got a chance but you might want to iron out the details of ownership with your artist in case they do accept. Like on paper and signed.
>>93834880
I'm sure publishers don't want to take chances with someone with little experience writing comics for consumers.
Maybe start off with, dare I say it, a webcomic? Get into the routine of writing pages weekly/bi-weekly. If companies want to print an issue per month, you would need to be able to make 20ish pages per month.
Since you have a job, that takes up most of your time, but you need to get into the habit of writing pages constantly.
BUT, I have absolutely no experience writing, drawing, or making anything. The only thing I do is read comics, but this is stuff that make sense when I think about it.
Is this true?

I've seen a couple threads up on /co/ about this enough to know the gist but honestly, who cares?
The remake sucks. I gave it a couple episodes and it's a castrated version with none of the irony or cleverness of the original. Has anyone on /co/ actually seen the cartoon or have we all stopped watching that trash reboot?
>>93834878
I'm not gonna click the link cause gizmodo is trash, but yeah it doesn't really matter
I don't think anyone was seriously worried about the dude living out his waifu dreams. The new PPG is so bad anyway it's not like it actually makes it worse. It was just fun to look at the shitstorm and see what happened.
>have we all stopped watching that trash reboot?
Haven't seen any threads in a while. It was obvious it wasn't gonna get any better and it was too low quality for sustained hate
>>93834878
Sounds like damage control imo.
I'm so confused. We had kids like him where I went to high school. Rich kids of immigrants.
And they were absolute hilarious jokes. No one liked them and they were the butt of every joke. But in the MCU he's supposed to be really cool?
I don't get it. What was the point?
He's in a school of nerds. And it's current year.
>>93834748
I have never in my life met a single "Jock Bully" its like most stereotypes and complete bullshit. Bully types I kew where usually normal kids with attitude problems.
My guess is that the Ghandu version of Flash doesn't really have real friends and jyst want to suck up to him for money because he is rich and desperate for attention so he goes after the more passive kids to make himself feel better and gives his friends money for the illusion of being popular.
