>On Thursday, Whitmire responded to speculation around the circumstances of his departure in a personal blog post, stating that it was not his choice to leave the role. "For me the Muppets are not just a job, or a career, or even a passion. They are a calling, an urgent, undeniable, impossible to resist way of life," he wrote of his career. "This is my life’s work since I was 19 years old. I feel that I am at the top of my game, and I want all of you who love the Muppets to know that I would never consider abandoning Kermit or any of the others because to do so would be to forsake the assignment entrusted to me by Jim Henson, my friend and mentor, but even more, my hero."
Whitmire continued to note that he was told by Muppets Studio executives in October 2016 that the role of Kermit would be recast. "I have offered multiple remedies to their two stated issues which had never been mentioned to me prior to that phone call. I wish that we could have sat down, looked each other in the eye, and discussed what was on their minds before they took such a drastic action," said, adding that he retained hope that Disney would "reverse their course" in the ensuing nine months. Ultimately, they did not.
"I just want you all to know that I am sorry if I have disappointed any of you at any point throughout our journey, and to let everyone know that I am devastated to have failed in my duty to my hero," he concluded. He noted that the website he set up — on which his note is posted — is intended to be "a place to connect and share on all things Muppet, past, present and future."In a statement released to TIME, a spokesperson for The Muppets Studio wrote: "The Muppets Studio thanks Steve for his tremendous contributions to Kermit the Frog and The Muppets franchise. We wish him well in his future endeavors."
but that is none of my concern
>Sacks Kermit's voice for no reason
whats wrong with Disney

>We wish him well in his future endeavors.
That's basically machine code for "Fuck him."
Does anyone remember an episode where the Planeteers replace their rings for armbands and Gaia was weakened or something? If so, what was the episode called? Also, Captain Planet thread I guess.

The Conqueror?
>>93853661
Yes! that's it. kind of disturbing that those gauntlets did so much damage.
So this has been bugging me for the past couple of hours, but does ANYONE remember that one long promo from cartoon network/boomerang where they had all the characters doing random stuff? Two things i rememeber was dexter moonwalking the whole time and the powerpuff girls flying with superman and wonder woman towards a giant robot piloted by red guy, snidely whiplash, and zorak but was instakilled when samurai jack climbed it and stabbed it? been looking for that video everywhere and i cant find it
Was it a CN City bump?
>>93853536
no this was different, besides there's a whole collage of those on youtube that are easily found
>>93853509
Yeah seen it, I even found a full version of it in YouTube, I can't remember how I did but I basically went for boomerang cartoon bumper and it popped up back in the day.
It's really cool to be honest, the PPG+Superman segment crowned by Voltron formed by Lex, red guy, Pierre Nodoyuna(As called in México) was freaking dope.

The plans for Zero Hour was to restore two earths along with post crisis modified.

Isn't she working on a new DC cartoon?
Well hello there, Mr. UPS man...
>>93852510
What did he mean by this?
Oh so you think the packages are yours? I ordered them, payed for them. I didn't remember until they were delivered and by then they were just random boxes. The packages betray you, because they belong to me!
>>93852510
>You should have left our wives alone.
superman.
Superman?
I was gonna shitpost by saying something like "What if Superman was a God?" or "What if Superman was a dog?", but I just realized that, for the most part, they've all been done.
What's left to do? "What if Superman was a house?"
>>93852483
Superhouse would make a great mini desu.
why is it ok to say this is great but not bvs
>MARTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>93852372
Because everybody is allowed to have their own subjective opinion.
because it was great, and BvS wasnt
feel free to post contrarianism and useless rage against the machine here, since you dare to like a movie nobody else likedits ok to like BvS, but its a dick move to claim a more popular movie sucks and your pet movie is better

Was he right? Should the kind of immigrants Superman represent still be seen as the ideal? Should he continue to represent the idea that people should forgo their original culture and integrate into their new country?
>was he right?
Does he need to be?
Superman was made by 2 jewish guys during the peak of the jewish assimilation, when jews thought gentiles would let them alone if they left or downright reject their semite heritage. Things have changed. It's a very complicated topic and it'll get ugly because /pol/
>>93851089
Supergirl's sorta the more relevant one there honestly. Clark generally doesn't know anything about his heritage until he's older. I wouldn't expect a Vietnamese baby or whatever raised basically from birth in Kansas to be different from any other American.
12 shots.
This time, I have 12 shots.
Just twelve? But I brought all these bullets.
>>93851064
>>93851179
>Lettle babies brought 12 boolets
>Little little faggots forgot, t hat Heavy has 200 boolets!
>>93851329
200 bullets are useless compared to one that hits, chere.
Why is everyone a jerk to him?
>>93851034
Because he's a co-dependent pile of refuse who is desperate for attention and acceptance, but so selfish and socially maladjusted that only the dregs of society will even tolerate him.
People who have had to put up with an Owl see the character for what he is, one of those clingy bottom feeders who function just highly enough that you might lend them your ear out of sympathy, but they become totally dependent black holes who constantly demand your attention and support while offering less than nothing in return. And if you protest they just try to guilt you into pitying them harder.
If you think Owl did nothing wrong, then you've either been blessed by never having met one irl, or you fucking are one and should be hit with a car.
>>93851391
Literally end of thread.
to get him to move out
You know why
>>93850869
Does the writing finally get interesting?
>>93850869

>>93850869

eh
>Nice and easy, no sudden movements. I would hate to have to kill you two in front of your impressionable son who has the wealth and good genetics to train his whole life and become some sort of highly skilled costumed vigilante

What if Joe Chill and Alfred Switched Places?
>>93850338
>NOT MY WIFE'S PEARLS! MURDER MY SON AND WIFE AND DESECRATE THEIR CORPSES BUT YOU TOUCH THOSE PEARLS AND I'LL EAT YOUR GUN!
Comics were better when it wasn't infested with all this political correct bullshit and the women were attractive.
Why is Japan so damn good at making waifus?
Yeah, back to a simpler time.
>>93850401
There's a world of difference between the people who wanted to stop being lynched and the people who say that cops are trying to genocide Blacks.
>>93850217
Eat shit, you dumb casual.
Peej was a feminazi and Guy was a jingoist, all of which got toned down for idiots like you.
