Can we talk about how american dad completely avoids talking about donald trump?
even though stan smith would ironically vote for him
That's not what irony is.
And no, the fact that a television show not discussing a reality television star's political career isn't a topic that needs to be analyzed in any real detail.
>>93814390
except there's been multiple episodes and about people's political career (ollie north, abe , reagan)
besides the fact that his idol is reagan and the similaritys between reagan and trump are huge to say the least
>>93814354
No, stop kidding yourself. He would've voted for either Ted Cruz or Jeb Bush.
Do people even care anymore?
>>93814291
We live in a world in which edgy 21 year old mods on /co/ thinks a female character from Space Jam is a furry and not cartoon related...
There is nothing left in the world, why care about any of it.
I've never really cared about Gorillaz.

Spider-Man still maintains a secret identity, he still wears tights. Those are largely hallmarks of DC characters right now and are eschewed by most Marvel characters at this point.
Additionally his abilities are absurd in comparison to his universe:
>Genius intellect
>Wall crawling
>Enhanced strength
>Enhanced durability
>Enhanced reflexes
>Enhanced balance
>Enhanced healing
>Limited precognition
Basically nobody in Marvel generally has the variety and power levels that Spider-Man has. He's pretty much identical to the exceptional gods-among-men style DC heroes. On top of that he has various personal issues, suffered from the dead parents meme and other things, he's basically a DC character in the Marvel universe.
Marvel really needs to bring secret identities and classic costumes back to its characters. Noobody gives a fuck when everyone is wearing civies or tacticool crap. And is Peter the only hero in the Marvel Universe who still has a secret identity? (Post-2011 affirmative action legacy characters don't count) It's just not cool.
>>93813856
Daredevil's identity is secret again.''
Also
>These characters don't count because I don't like them.
C'mon man...
>>93813758
Without mentioning the Omega levelers, there are multiple mutants who have the same or even more powers.
Also, you'd be hard pressed to name a classic Marvel character who STILL has parents.
Let's talk Prowler. Honestly I'm surprised he didn't get a bit more exposure in Homecoming than he did. I mean let's face it, after Venom and Black Cat, he's arguably the most viable spin-off character. Especially with Donald Glover, a current media golden boy playing him. Certainly prowler makes more sense than a random buddy film pairing of super villains.
Also, was his "ongoing" series actually just a miniseries in disguise like the big two keep doing these days? Because I'm getting pretty sick of that move
I feel like Homecoming was just blowing through way too many villains and I doubt they will all get fully fleshed out.
>>93813670
I personally think that Miles' Uncle as the Prowler was the best Prowler.
In all honesty, I really cannot remember much about the character. He doesn't really have a strong hook.
>>93813712
Well Scorpion seemed like he was just being burned through but then they seemed to set him up for the sequel. Prowler, Tinkerer and Shocker will never be able to carry a movie or even half, so not a real loss there. And Hobgoblin is third in line in a series of goblin characters that will likely not be touched for at least several movies.
And Vulture isn't entirely our of the picture.
So I guess of those the only one I'd say was potentially wasted was Shocker, but outside of deep fanboy circles he's either an unknown or a joke character so that's about the best you can expect for him.
Assuming no redos on previous villians the obvious remaining candidates are Scorpion, Mysterio, Chameleon, and Kraven for classic villians, so that's at least two movies worth.
What will Cartoon Network do for it's 30th birthday?
>>93813536
Teen Titans Go marathon.
>>93813536
Cancel another show
>>93813536
Hopefully they showcase the shows from both the past and the present.
I know it's crazy talk at this point, but hey, a man can dream.
What will have in this issue desu
You got to hand it to the Germans, last they where seen they where burning down New York and they have already reached Detroit?
Anyone ever read any of the Rick and Morty comics?
I think they're pretty damn good, and they've really been tiding me over while I wait for season 3
>>93813040
I have, and they're great
They're pretty good. They have the same tone from the show and were a nice way to cope with the huge hiatus
>>93813040
b-b-but R&M is a reddit show
>Disney's Spider Man deal with Sony says that Sony receives all the profits from the film's box office while Disney gets the merchandise sales profits
>Sony is so incompetent that Disney jewed them out of their own property
The Spider-Man film/merch rights split happened almost ten years ago.
You never sell merchandise rights. George Lucas taught us all that when he made Star Wars and took a reduce pay because "I'll work for nothing if I keep the merchandising rights", and then look what happened.
>>93813006
To be fair that way Marvel don't actively try to damage the brand like they did with F4 and X-Men.
LOL
Ok?
I find it funny they use green squares.
>>93812985
Spidey's suit is looking even more Ditko in that image. Obviously it's pre-vis and whatever else but the black arm bands are gone and the web lines seem darker and more prominent. I like the changes.
I bought Blue early and digitally because Ill be busy during the day and have some spoilers about Wolfsbane, Toad and Havok. I will only talk about the characters who fight the X Men in this issue, not the story.Toad has a secondary mutation, his tongue is now on fire.He has a quick exchange with young Beast about that novelty, and he made a comment that may have implied Adult beast may be behind the unlocking of secondary mutations.Wolfsbane has 2, yes, 2, secondary mutations. Now she has Lady Deathstrike style claws, and she can also divide her werewolf form into a group of many wolves. Like she divides herself into 4 or 5 wolves, she releases herself from Beast´s grip that way and gang ups on him.It is made completely clear Havok is still inverted, and still deformed, he wears a metal mask in part of the face.Archangel also appears in the fight.
>>93812929
>Mondo
Wow, I knew that GenX were coming back, but damn.
>>93812929
Geez. His tongue was already a secondary mutation.
>>93812929
Whatever happened to Wolfsbane's kid?
since the villain one hit bump limit

Intelligence part three!
Tell me /co/, what are your hopes and fears regarding the future of SU?
I hope it will manage to make the various elements and characters introduced so far into a well-balanced tapestry of drama, comedy, action and beauty that will appeal to and satisfy if not everybody, then at least a large number of people.
I fear that it might be cancelled before a satisfying conclusion is reached, or that things are resolved hastily.
Interesting poster. Is the white, star-like object meant to represent White Diamond?
>>93811949
I hope some people will watch all the eps and enjoy them, and fear that more people will watch all the eps and come here to bitch about it
