I used to take care of someone's chickens. They're alright, they just walk around and peck at the ground for the most part.

There is at least one segment (think it's NatGeo) where they tied a golden eagle down so a coyote or wolf could kill it for the camera.
Nature my ass. This is set up in at least 4 kinds of ways.

Take it to a wild animal center. Rabbits need to be fed milk often, too often for a first timer to properly manage without killing it. Plus they know how to rehabilitate it properly so it can eventually return to the wild. Just find a wildlife rehab center, call and tell them what you have. If you absolutely cannot find any centers near you then take it to a pet store so they can find one, but this is a last resort.
Why the fuck did my ball python die? I bought him on Tuesday and I noticed Wednesday that he appeared to have no muscle power at all in the lower half of his body. He couldn't curl it up and it just dangled.

it looks far too wet, that's all I can say
what's the conditions like? tell us how you cared for it
>>2415492
The tank is humid because of eco earth but I kept him in a box at 82 degrees while the tank dried. He's was half paralyzed since I got him though. I never fed him either. He's only been in that tank for 2 days.
Can someone ID this spider for me? Found it chilling in the bathroom. Is he a bro?

Do they at least satisfy the poor neglected female eventually?

Depends on the farmer. ;)
You guys forget about the literal cuck stallions.
There are stallions whose sole purpose is to get the mares heated up until the actual breeding stallion appears.
Horse breeding is full of tragic stories.
I'm feeling really bad. Post cute kittens.

Chile, we are going to get a pretty big storm next week (we are in winter) and I don't think he's going to make it
Hey guys!
First time posting here, so I have no clue if it's appropriate or if I'll get trolled.
I just got out of my car and walked into Kroger. I felt something crawling on my leg under my shorts. I freaked out thinking it was a roach, and I furiously shook the creature out and saw that it was this spider.
Can anyone identify this type of spider? I don't think I was bitten, but it looks strange and uncommon to me (I live in southeast Georgia - US) and I'm a little worried there might be more in my car.

I would totally shop at a Publix if there was one near me

I stand corrected.
Carry on.
My poor dog Jack passed away suddenly around 9:50PM tonight while I was out at work. He was in the middle of a recovery from a splenectomy Wednesday morning because there was a cancerous tumor in his spleen. Brought him home the day they finished and brought him back this morning for a little checkup on his blood and temps. He was looking a lot better already so I wasn't ready at all for this. After some research I'm thinking it was deep vein thrombosis because it just happened out of nowhere. He puked for the first time roughly two hours before he passed.
I put nearly every penny I had, just over $1000, to save him. He was only 9 years old. He had a safe space in the bathroom that he always went to when something scared him and he passed away in there. I know he was terrified and it hurts so much to know that. He's currently still in there covered up. Going to bury him tomorrow.
I want my best friend back. I've been crying on and off for hours.

Here's the last pic I took of him this morning. He found a ball outside the vet and wanted to bring it home with him. Things were looking so good.
I guess this can be a thread for lost pets. I just wanted to share him with this board.
I'm sorry about Jack, OP. It's never easy to lose a pet, especially after so many years with them.
I had to bury several of my dog's puppies last winter. One of them died shortly after birth, and the next died a few days after that. Poor thing was too small and weak.
I had to bury another one a couple months later. Poor bastard got hit by a car sometime at night after my mom left him outside and never brought him back in. He was the one we were going to keep too.
About two months ago, give or take a weak, I buried my Grandmother's dog in the backyard. He was an old motherfucker who we had to take care of, my Dad didn't want my old Grandma accidentally falling over him since he had a habit of sleeping everywhere and anywhere.
He was a good dog, even if he snored like a vacuum cleaner and stunk up the place. His name was Rusty and he had a dark red coat.
>>2414654
Thanks bro. Very sorry for the loss of Rusty and the puppies.
I'm tearing up just reading your post. I've never even cried at the funerals I've been to but this death hits too close to me. It was too soon and I wanted him to go peacefully. I wanted to give him a big hug tonight and have him sleep in my bed with me. I never got the chance to say goodbye.
I'm looking for a video I watched on Discovery or Nat Geo Wild like 5 or 6 years back where a young male african elephant travels for days with a big fungus-covered erection to find a female, only to prematurely cum all over the matriarch of another herd's back before being chased away back into the savannah? Thanks
I've never seen this, but I want to now.
