Years ago when I was a basement dweller living at my mom's I had an egress window with mice in it, which my cats would spend hours sitting at. It's like they were watching television.
I think I'd like to get a pet mouse or two for my cats to watch. Is this a good/bad idea /an/?
I want to say it's a bad idea, but I don't know for sure.
It'd probably be stressful for the mice, but I could see it potentially working if the cats aren't able to get right up next to the cage and the mice are given plenty of hides to retreat to when they feel threatened.
They'd probably get less afraid over time as they realize the cats can't get them, but that'd only work if they don't die of fright first.
Mess with the gecko and you get the pecko

Why would you want to delete her?

Delete her? I barely know her!

Female. The pre-anal pores on male leopard geckos tend to be quite obvious (as opposed to some other gecko species), they often have a slightly different color than the surrounding scales. Also I see no hemipenal bulge. So female. 100%.

So no pecko?
Any quick methods for reducing separation anxiety in my dog?
Going on a 3 day camping trip this weekend and I've asked family to come check on him periodically. I work at home and it's gotten to the point where I can't go to the grocery store without him pissing and shitting all over.
I really don't want to kennel him but I'm kind of at my wit's end
Fuck off you communist piece of shit.
Does anyone know what that thing is? There a fuckton of it in my garden and it's first time in 33 years that I see something like that in Belgium.

Is there anything I can do to help a stray mom cat and her kittens, aside from feeding them? I'd love to get the mom spayed and the kittens adopted, but I don't have a car to bring the cat into a clinic. I also can't keep the kittens in my apartment, so I'm not sure how I could get them adopted. Is there anything else I can do?

South america should be burned, all of it

Nothing wrong with bullet ants. I can think of a lot better reasons to burn South America.
Like South Americans.

The mom just came swooping down and fed it the largest fucking roach I've ever seen.
My cat I've had for five years have been going outside unleashed since the first day I brought him home. He mainly stayed in my yard, but since this summer began, he's been crossing the streets and it has been worrying me. He almost got hit the other day and I fear bringing him out. What do /an/?
leave him inside.
>>2413219
My cat was a stray, adopted her because she'd come to my window and follow me around outside, so she was used to being out, loved it really.
But I've been starting to ween her off it because like you, I'm afraid of cars and my hick neighbors pitbulls. I got a harness and a stake in the ground so now we're both happy.

Got some random chilli seeds a year ago and finally potted them. Though pretty sure I'm nursing a weed masquerading as a chilli
>>2413205
One at back doesn't look like a chilli, other two do.

Are you sure that's wild? Its fur looks kinda well-groomed and thick for a wild rabbit. Then again, I live in California.
What's the most efficient way to keep these guys cool during the summer heat? I'm currently am using a tarp and an air conditioner, to make a cooling tent over their cage but I fear it may not be enough.
Also feel free to adapt this into a general rodent/lagomorph thread.

Long lasting ice packs placed onto a dinner plate to catch drips and save bedding, make sure it's non toxic or just wrap it up in something like a towel if he chews.
Fan blowing across the corner of the cage through a platform, never directly into the cage.
A frozen gallon of water on a deeper plate will last all day and provide clean ass water by condensating.
This is pretty easy stuff to solve. Ice water is everyone's go to, but if your teeth suck it hurts like hell to drink, so don't do it if you don't want him to develop sensitivities.
And yes, you are about to have a dead animal if you keep that up. Frozen gallon of water would cool a whole 4 cubic feet if isolated, build a little cube area with this inside so he can enter and exit. You have to let them do it themselves because your choice about their room temperature will always fail.
My dog ran out of the house into the backyard and spooked an adolescent robin, it wasn't great at flying yet and flew right into the fence really hard....fell to the ground, had convulsions and died.
I'm pretty sure it broke its neck or had some severe head trauma.
Anyway, I feel really bad and buried it in the back by some flowers after I was sure it was dead.

Circle of life, anon. My cat killed a bird and hid it under my bed.
Sad isn't it
I'm tired of things dying
>>2412781
Odds are it'd have fallen on its own anyway.
