What is the likelihood that there are massive sea creatures dormant in the unexplored depths of our oceans, such as in the Mariana Trench?
I've always been fascinated by the concept of things like sea serpents, leviathans, and the like. Aquatic cryptozoology.

besides squids, zero

We've been to the bottom of the Mariana trench. Theres not much to see

This, there's nothing to eat
Sadly, all of the supposed "giant sea monsters" that have been sighted over the centuries are likely to be nothing more than rather mundane submersible robots built by aliens
Rodent thread.
What would it be like if these things were the size of capybaras?

Someone is selling this on etsy for $30.
Anyone here have experience with cows?
Next to my house there were these 3 cows, a mother and two calves doing cow things in a field. The calves are quite big now, but still look fairly young.
Last week someone came to take the old cow away, probably to "euthanize" it for meat. The calves keep mooing, was a bit painful to see to be honest.
Problem is, even now, some seven days later, the calves will moo, sometimes in the middle of the night, and I don't know if I'm projecting, but it's getting a bit crushing to hear them and feeling like they're calling out for the mom. They had time to forget about the separation already, right? I mean, how fucking smart can they be?
Don't know what to do, I've thought about everything, from moving, to hanging myself in the garage. This sure triggered some weird synapses.

Cows are actually pretty damn smart. They actually have damn long memories. You'll probably be listening to that shit for a while.
That dog died :(
>>2406442
I have heard the same thing, only a mother cow bellering for days for its calves. it was funny actually
Pitbulls are fucking cancer and so are pitbull apologists. We keep all our animals indoors because the people next door have a pitbull chained up 24/7. Newsflash, theyre niggers. And for the record I live in easternTN where there arent that many black people, and what a coincidence, one of the few have the stereotypical nigger dog that maims and kills people.
Also forgot to mention that the dumb fucker jumped on the elderly lady next door to them when it got loose, police came and shot the dog and our tax dollars paid to have it stitched up and rehabilitated. Yes the fucker survived.

Am i the exception?
I adopted a skinny mutt labeled a shepherd mix. Then he grew into what was undeniably a pitbull German shepherd mix. I went into the shelter specifically looking for anything except for a pitbull.
Ever think that some of the nice white people that have pitbulls got them for reasons out of their control? I can't give my dog back. It's been two years and i adopted him and now I'm responsible for this shit nigger dog that i now love. God damn it it's contradictory sometimes but I hate fucking niggers and shitbull enthusiasts i swear
>>2401956
I suppose but your doghas every predisposition to snap and if it does it will be bad and it will be your fault. Youre an honorary nigger.
>>2401956
Your dog's mix is also like 1000x worse than a purebred pitbull. You should just kill it yourself now and save someone the hassle later.

So, the other day, one of my poison dart frogs died but I have no clue why.
He had plenty of food, good moisture, and moderately warm environment. He was also in a tank with 3 other frogs who are still active and (from what I can tell) happy.
Anybody else here own dart frogs and have them die for some common but unknown reason? Ty bb.
>>2410855
Why are you cultivating a neurotoxin?
>>2410855
how big is your tank? darts are territorial, so if you have too little space it's possible that it got fucked up because of that
>>2410864
It has a 47cm width, 94cm lenght, and 43cm height
Although im not sure this is the problem since they were living with each other like a year prior to this, but I guess they were younger at that time.
I think my cat has a urinary tract infection. Is this very painful for him? Is it something that can wait until Monday or do I need to hurry and get him to an emergency vet tomorrow?
If feral cats can live a few years im sure your cat can make it til monday
>>2410276
Ok I'm not worried about him dying or something. I'm worried about my pet that I love being in pain you doofus.
>>2410284
I think he's probably in pain. I had a UTI as a kid and it was like fire ants were ravaging my urethra every time I tried to piss.
So I got a little hamster yesterday, and I'm a bit worried about how he's acclimating to my house.
He's been a very calm guy, would crawl around on my hands from the minute I took him out of the box. Gave him a little time to run around on the floor, he wasn't fast at all so catching him was no problem.
He ate okay the first day, sitting in his bowl every half hour to an hour or so, rolling in it and kicking it all over his cage.
Nearing the end of the first day, around 6pm to ~3am he was just sitting in his little plastic castle, napping.
I didn't really think it was abnormal, given the sudden change in habitat, but thought it was strange he was asleep that late into the night.
Next day, I come back out and he's still in his bed. And has been in his bed 99% of the day, from about 12-8pm (now).
He's come out to take a few nibbles of food, run on his wheel for a few seconds, went up to the second floor of his cage to carry toilet paper down into his plastic castle on the first floor, and go back to sleep.
He doesn't seem to have any trust issues with me, as he'll crawl most of the way into my hand when he is rarely awake, and crawl around on my hands/arms. I feel like he's not getting the exorcise he needs, and he hasn't shown any interest in drinking from his water bottle.
I'm probably concerned over nothing, but this being my first hamster, I would rather not have him die from dehydration/illness.
>>2410101
I don't know enough about hamsters to know if this is abnormal or not. Maybe he doesn't know how to drink from the bottle? Try showing him.
>>2410168
Update since I've posted this.
He came out, went and got some water for about 20 seconds ish? Don't know if he actually got any, but he tried for sure. He seemed satisfied, so I assume he did.
Went on a little run, and ran around on my hands for a few minutes. Put him back in his cage and back to the hidey-hole.
>>2410202
Make sure to save toilet roll tubes for the little fella, hamsters love those things.
This is Bella. She's a mutt. Half bichon and half shih tzu.
She is always very quiet (I think in her past I didn't show enough compassion)
There is a lump on her head. Can you tell me what it is?
Is it expensive?
Is it better to euthanize her
Niagra Falls is overrated
So was your mom but she's still worth visiting once.
>>2409994
agreed. op's mom was fun for one night.
>>2409908
