What's /x/'s opinion on the Marsquatch?

Like the sasquatch, but on Mars
The truth was already revealed
Did the Crusaders ever fight demons?
>inb4 mudslimes are demons
You know what I mean
>>17492243
Power based on amount of believers,
if anything they would be fighting WITH them.
>>17492243
This isn't an anime, you retard.

The Crusades happened as a reaction to Muslims brutally killing Christian pilgrims heading to Jerusalem. They cut their abdomens open, pulled out part of their intestines, pinned it to a tree and whipped the pilgrim, making him run around the tree until he'd literally ran his guts out. It was also a direct result of Muslim aggression and expansion. So in a sense yes, they did fight demons, but they weren't horned devils. Also they weren't spiritual for the most part, they were after money, wealth and glory, so I doubted they'd fight demons. Lastly if Demons DO exist Humans wouldn't be able to fight them.
Does anybody remember an 8-bit sidescroller that was shared on here some years ago that was called "Shi"?
The uploader shared it on here in .rar format. I remember it had four different endings, and a very, very, very spooky MIDI soundtrack.
Of the four endings, I remember two of them. There was a gun you could get in one of the "levels" (they was like seven or eight separate rooms that counted as them, I believe) and using the gun on one enemy would lead you to the end where you were killed by police when you exited the house.
The other ending was where you went through and, I suppose, did nothing morally reprehensible throughout the course of the game, and when you exited the house you were struck by a meteor and killed.
It's been six or seven years since I played it, Google searches have brought up nothing over the years, and I don't have the HDD it was on anymore.
Anybody remember this, or better yet, have it? Also, spooky non-lost obscure stuff general.
bump, come on guys dont fail me

I see allot of /x/ movie threads but never anything on TV shows of the like. So can we have a thread dedicated to all the cool /x/ related shows out there?
Examples would include:
X- files (obligatory)
Ash Vs Evil Dead (god tier)
The Twilight Zone
Goosebumps (So horrible its amazing)
Twin Peaks
AYAOTD
Lexx
Fringe
>>17490198
Holy shit Lexx was so weird. It's like campy sci-fi mixed with porno plots that never get to the porn. There's even a gender bender episode.

This shit has everything, time travel, conspiracy theories, spooky time/god or whatever constantly trying to kill you, James Franco, everything
Are paranormal experiences actually ephemeral perceptions of quantum phenomena?
"The micro-universe of the quantum is bizarre in comparison to the macro-universe. Particles pop in and out of existence in defiance of the laws of conservation (matter can neither be created nor destroyed). Different particles can be in the same place at the same time, or can even be in every possible place at the same time. One of the most important aspects of the quantum realm is that nothing can be predicted with certainty. The randomness observed in subatomic events, as well as the inability to determine both the momentum and the location of any given particle at the same moment in time, has led to the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics, which states that only the probability of a given event can be predicted"
>>17485615
So, paranormal activity is the macro equivalent of the micro-quantum condition?
>>17485629
That is what I'm wondering. Could the human mind, under the right conditions, become aware of quantum fluctuations?
Ghosts, cryptids, doppelgängers, harbingers, synchronicity, time loss etc etc could all be quantum anomalies detected/created by the human brain and maybe it is the basis of the subconscious
>>17485673
The human subconscious processes and filters out information it's deemed to be trivial to our well being. If the filter starts to fail, our conscious mind starts to very bombarded by imagery it's not prepared to handle.
greetings gentlemen, i am compiling information on shadow people, and i have a few theorys behind them, and i am hoping to get a greater understanding of them. to start, i am a insomniac, a occasional user of amphetamines, and i have done a various number of drugs for fun, including oxy, coke, and of course, weed. now, i, and some of us here have seen shadow people before, feel free to post your storys, and your theorys. now, let me post my story. after a few replies, i will post my theorys. i'll start the thread with my story.
>be me
>unable to sleep, partially due to insomnia, partially due to meth (i do it maybe once a month)
>sit up on my bed to vape, turn on the light
>see shadow people appear on one side of the room, maybe 3 of them
>they run to my bed, sit down, and disapear.
it sort of looked like a vidya game style running and sitting, like skyrim shit, you know?
stop doing meth.. this isnt paranormal just some junkie tripping out.
>>17485603
> theorys

Been looking everywhere for this creepypasta of a Russian/German(can't remember which) experiment where they turned people into immortals but something when very wrong. The place was abandoned and couldn't be found again or something like that. Any /x/philes know what I'm talking about?
>>17494542
Russian sleep experiment?
>>17494548

tell me something?
anything you'd like.
for me this is a game.
Hey /X/ ITT: Tell me some deep psychological/philosophical/will keep you up until 5 am kinda shit. The more it makes you think, the better.
/x/ or /x], but never /X/
You of course have read every single thread before your request to have content hand delivered to your own private thread, right?
I'm a deeply depressed person but I'm so scared of death it keeps me up at night.
The idea that my consciousness with all of its quirks and loves will some day be permanently gone fills me with such an existential dread, it has begun crippling my ability to care. At the same time, I'm so frustrated that I care so much about the inevitable that I have no control over. Why can't I just get over it?
I'm only 23 years old and already I'm scared of the infinity of nothing I will face.
The law of thermodynamics is a fucking dick.
>>17493224
disclaimer: I have no idea what will happen to me after death, which may be why I feel so ok with death. Anywho; here's my point of view.
I don't view my life as significant at all. With the whole cosmos in persepctive, if I died nothing would happen. I'm surprisingly ok with that. I think thats why I'm so happy with my life right now. I just don't care all too much.
What are you reading? I just realized I have too many books on kindle, and should obtain the hard copy form in case SHTF. My other favorite author not pictured (since all his ebooks are on that kindle...) is Richard Dolan.

can anyone advice good books to OP?
I am currently "reading" Liber 777 by Crowley.
Also the works of Austin Osman Spare are great.
Silver Ravenwolf is said to be good.
I did let me read some of my books with an exe called Balabolka.
And this channel on youtube makes book reviews:

>An Experiment With Time - J W Dunne
Great book about synchronicity and OBE by an early mathematician and aviator
Currently reading Hypnotherapy by Dave Elmer, I saw it in that /omg/ thread on /x/ in the book links, so I thought I'd give it a try. Around 1/3 through. Next I'm gonna read Cialdini's Psychology of Persuasion. I know I should probably focus on more esoteric texts as a whole since that's my end goal, but I'm more into psychology-meets-occult stuff
FRI/SAT MAR 19 – JASON VERBELLI
Jason Verbelli is an independent researcher and experimenter. His focus is the work of Professor John Searl, Water “Structurizers”, suppressed sciences and addressing misconceptions in mainstream models. His uplifting ideology is refreshing. For the past 8 years, Jason has dedicated himself to presenting information that isn’t mentioned in mainstream news or even many libraries.

Water Structurizers by Jason Verbelli
are we humans so dependents of electricity ?
Imagine an extraterrestrial invasion what would happen to us if the electric system were broken down,in days we were died nothing would be like in hollywood if you have seen a UFO you shortly can realize these shit are millions and millions of years over our knowledge at the point that they may be can warp space to their will and tamper things beyond us so you realize we do not have possibility against those things
>>17487619
Well duh
It powers the modern world.
Another thing we're becoming increasingly dependent on is the internet.
>>17487619
>are we humans so dependents of electricity ?
The easiest question to answer.
>>17487619
every one wouldnt die. many would but not every one
some can live off the land and others would live off of others for a time.
so maybe you cant catch a rat to eat but people well those fat fucks cant run or crawl into a wall and a person provides a lot of meat
