Go to Control Panel
- Go to Sounds
- Go to Playback
- Pick bluetooth headset as output device.
- Go to Properties > At "Levels" tab, check if it is set too 100%.
- Go to Enhancements > Enable Loudness Equalization>.
- Apply.

This is how it went.

Yeah that sounds like it's pretty clearly a scam of some sort. They have no real reason to pay some outside guy to order and ship things to them, and it's 10x more suspicious because the guy send a message to you out of the blue rather than just posting an opening on a job searching website or something.
