You can use them if there is some kind of anaesthetic which is flammable. But only when there is also oxygen air or nitrous oxide.

Because the oxygen is needed for combustion and in any other case where oxygen is not present it would likely by okay to use.

Pick one if these. They all mean the same thing but in ascending orders of simplicity

Noscript is a good one.
Doesn't let anything run unless you tell it to.

Don't forget to watch the movie, End of Evangelion. I like the Rebuild movies, but not everyone does.

If you want fantasy that's serious, ignore the anime and go read Berserk.
If you want cute fantasy shit, Kobayashi-chan no Maid Dragon is pretty good at that right now.

If you want History, Drifters involves historical characters, and the creator is well known for his previous work, Hellsing.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon might fit you well, but it's extremely lore heavy, so you're going to be thrown at a brick wall of infodumps.
If you can bear through and absorb that, the plot is interesting and every character is unique and entertaining in their own right.

The Fate franchise might also be something you're interested in. Wizards summon historical heroes to fight over the Holy Grail.
