An assignment for my electronic writing class requires me to use an image for a folk tale (of my writing) to post on Medium.com
I'd like someone to draw an image for me that somehow relates to the folk tale. I'd prefer a figure that is dancing, because that is the main subject of the folk tale.
-I will not be using your image for commercial purposes.
-I will link to your social media/art gallery/blog in my post if you wish
-The image must not be lewd or violent (hence WS req).
-I totally encourage outrageous drawings, and will accept/use multiple drawings in my post
Any contributions are appreciated.
Here is the folk tale for inspiration:
Long ago there was a very good dancer. He spent most of his time dancing. Come to think of it, he didn’t have a real job. This was a point of disapproval for the townspeople. They thought the dancer didn’t share with the labor required to keep the town running. Other folk thought he was charming and fun to have around. The dancer showed up to every party and got very drunk most nights.
One night, after many hours of dancing, the dancer was feeling more restless than usual. As people were leaving the barn (they danced in barns, typically) the dancer said, townspeople why do you turn to your beds so early? The night is yet young, and there is time yet to dance! Many of the sleepy villagers ignored him. The pauper said, dancer, we cannot dance as long as you. We tire just by looking at you dance away with your many dances. It’s very exhausting for us simple folk to dance. But if you wish to dance this night away, I’m aware that the next town over is having a party much larger than our small town. They will likely be dancing until the dawn, if you ask me.

And the dancer danced to the next town over, taking the pauper’s advice. It was quite a short distance from his own town. When he arrived he was feeling strong. The music and the lights and the people of the party the pauper mentioned excited him. He danced his way into the crowd and danced and danced and danced. the townsfolk stood in awe at the dancer who danced many dances. He brought new life into the revels and indeed the dancer eventually drew more folk to the party. The people of the town were so impressed with his dancing that they extended the duration of their celebration by a whole ten days, a period during which the dancer had not slept at all and many began to wonder about his health. But regardless, the dancer kept on dancing until these new townsfolk tired and began to leave after about two weeks or so. Again the dancer, still dancing, said to the townsfolk, why do you turn away from the wine and dance floor and sulk towards your plows and desks and anvils? We have just begun to enjoy ourselves, and there is time yet to dance! And very similarly to the first time, the tired townspeople ignored the dancer, except for a nobleman who had newly arrived and was vastly intrigued by the dancer’s dancing. The nobleman said, exceptional dancer I sympathize with your disappointment as I have just arrived from the capital to settle some affairs here in the country, but I have yet good news for you. The capital, which is my permanent residence, is currently celebrating the coronation of our new king, and as you can rightly imagine in this time of peace, the revels will very likely last many months.
>>267125
And so the dancer danced to the capital, a journey which took a few days to complete. He danced through the cobble streets, and many of the sharp dressed nobleman, lawyers, and even some well armed knights were impressed with the dancers dancing, especially seeing how he had learned many new dances by dancing so much in the past weeks. He had, in fact, invented many new dances, and these dances in particular drew a sizable crowd from the capital folk who walked out of their ornate houses, towers, and chapels to watch the dancer dance the fresh dances. When the dancer reached the palace gates, he danced by the guards and into the court, where he joined the knights and the king and danced and danced and danced. He quickly became a popular guest during the subsequent days, and it could even be said that the dancer changed the whole paradigm of the court. The king himself was so delighted by the dancers dancing that he invited more guests and called for more provisions for the celebration, and even ordered the construction of a new ball room in which more dancing would ensue. As the nobleman had told the dancer, the celebration lasted many many months, and during this time the dancer had not ceased his dancing, not even for a wink of sleep.
>>267127
The dancer ate and drank while dancing, and his behavior was quite a surprise to the many revelers of the palace, especially since by this time many different folk from all over the world had arrived to take part in the celebration. Indeed, by this time the dancer had accumulated a great deal of fame. Many townsfolk from distant lands, who after spending a few months or even just a few hours at the kings palace returned to their homelands and simply could not stop talking about the dancer who danced many dances to everyone they met. Stories began to circulate about the dancer, of which this tale is an example, if you want to know the truth, and because of these tales even more people flocked to the kings palace just to see the legendary dancer who would not stop dancing. It could be said the fascination with the dancer established a global peace, which lasted many months and was as surprise to everyone. The celebration went on, and did not seem to end, especially with the dancer driving it forward. Two full years of celebration passed when finally the king observed that the nations supplies had dwindled significantly, and the crop fields were barren and dusty, and the cleanliness of the city streets were becoming compromised due to the prolonged celebration. And so the celebration finally ended, albeit with great reluctance from practically everyone. As you might have guessed, the dancer, still dancing, was devastated when he noticed folk leaving the palace and returning to their homes. Oh fellow dancers! The dancer cried, Why do you drag your feet so reluctantly towards your distant homes? There is still more dancing to be had in our lifetimes! I tell you, hark! There is time yet to dance! Some revelers turned at his words, and looked longingly in the dancers direction, only to turn homeward once again. But there was a crouching, cloaked figure whose white beard dragged upon the dance floor, and he addressed the dancer in an old withered voice.

It can be any truck that fits with the logo of "Estrella Damm". Thank you, anons.
An example of what i want. I just can't even find an image of a real truck that fits... :(
Shameless bump :)
I don't think this is what you want but I did this in paint.net- it's frustrating to use.
I'm looking for samurai/medieval action anime with good sword fight scenes. I don't mind if there are fantasy elements if they are not over the top. Already watched all Samurai X, Basilisk and Stranger
Ninja Scroll is a must that kind of shit, and Afro Samurai is kind of a throwback to that kind of anime just higher production values.
Samurai Champloo is also great and has some of the best choreography in it's action scenes. Not quite on strangers level but still very good
>>266738
Shigurui
Samurai champloo as anon >>266833 said is a must.
Berserk
Drifters
Fate/zero
Fate/stay
Katanagatari
I guess Mononoke Hime
Darker than black has good choreography but isn't set in a medieval/samurai era
Anons! (I've been directed here from /a/ desu)
Help another anon out
I like anime but I'm not some expert in the field. I've recently come across House of Five Leaves and I love the style and feel of it, it's comfy as hell
I've managed to find other anime by following the same producers/writers and such, but this time I'm out of luck
So:
Could someone more versed in this suggest a similar show, in style and mood?
The colors are a bit washed out, it's mellow, it's not too fast nor too slow, the music flows perfectly with the mood of Masa, it doesn't have exaggerated reactions, it's great
Here's five leaves.

I pray you aren't streaming it.
I have this show on my backlog but only managed to get half way through an episode. It looks similar to Mushishi.
If you are looking into her other manga works, it Acca (airing this season) and Ristorante Paradiso.

Not without making it look like shit.
Christ I wish you people would finally figure out that Photoshop isn't some magical thing. It's a tool used to make quality pix look better. You have to START with something good to work with.
Of course, knowing some of you people I could rub shit on a picture and you'd say it looked cool.
Can someone photoshop me pictures of how anime is anti Christian harmful trash

Anime are satan's cartoons. It corrupts the mind of the young children who watch it and slowly steal their soul while giving them autism.
>>266651
But it isn't, Anon.
Recommend me youtubers that are good and talks about /a/, /co/, /tv/, or/and /v/. Nothing cringe worthy or misinformative.

I like Geekdom101, though he almost exclusively discusses Dragonball stuff.

Took forever trying to get the Kanji from the red text. Anyway, it comes out to 阿佐ヶ谷芸祭高校映像科へようこそ (Asagaya-gei-sai Koukou Eizou-ka e Youkoso or "Welcome to Asagaya Art Festival High School Imaging Department"), which, according to this single Bing-translated Tweet on Twitter, is a one-shot from Shounen Jump.
Tweet: https://twitter.com/acecrown904/status/826566536139665408
Google translate doesn't say "one-shot", so I'm a bit iffy on whether it actually is a one-shot.
Anyway, point is you will literally never see the raws of this manga nor will you ever see a translation of it. Sorry, anon.
So I can't play youtube videos anymore, unless I delete my cookies, then I can watch them, but I'm signed out, then when I sign in, I can't watch them anymore
What the fuck is going on? How do I solve this? And yes, I've deleted my cache multiple times
I'm getting the same problem. It's fine if I sign out, but I can't see anything signed in. Haven't done anything about deleting cookies though.
No idea what the hell is going on.
>>267134
Well, at least I'm not the only one
>>267131
Have you tried replacing watch?v= with embed/ in the video address?
I'm bored as fuck /wsr/. I've been working ~20+ hours overtime the last couple weeks and now I don't know what to do with some actual down time. Haven't watched much outside Jojo's and Fairytail lately. Need some recommendations to fill the time
Here are my top 49 anime.

Yikes.
>Penguin Drum
>no Utena
Just adding stuff by the same directors/mangaka that are of/aroundthe same quality or better.
Kenji Nakamura - tsuritama
Watanabe - Kids on the Slope, Space Dandy
Takahiro Omori - Natsume Yujincho
I see you are a Satashi Kon fan but don't know if you enjoyed Perfect Blue.
>>267036

looking for free anime shows and movies. is there a place for me?

online, stream or torrents?

Nyaa and BakaBT for torrents. For BakaBT, make sure your torrent client is on their whitelist: https://bakabt.me/whitelist.php
http://xdcc.horriblesubs.info/ and https://anidex.moe/ for XDCC
Scroll down to "What is XDCC" if you don't know how to do that. (If you're at college or something, it's a way to get around not being able to torrent.)
And for online videos like Youtube if you're awful: http://kissanime.ru/
>>266985
Not OP, but do you know any other sites? Cause there are a few things I want to watch that aren't on Nyaa or Baka, they're on kissanime but I'd rather not unless I have to
