How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games)
>play through using Basic decks to unlock them for versus play
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>Enter Theme format tournaments whenever possible
>enter Standard/Expanded ticket tournaments and accept that you'll lose
>you'll get tradable tournament chests and sometimes tradable packs
>DON'T OPEN THEM
>Instead, trade them for the cards you actually want for a deck you want to build, most cards go for like 1-3 packs each.
>Public trade is like the GTS, if you want proper results, put up your own offers.

Magearna isn't opposed to other Pokémons' pain and suffering. She craves it. Here's an excerpt from the website describing Magearna:

>Magearna has the power to perceive the emotions, thoughts, and feelings of other Pokémon. If a Pokémon is injured, Magearna will feel the other’s pain and suffering and will try as hard as it can to save that Pokémon.

However, her ability, Soul Heart, is the opposite: she gets stronger as Pokémon faint. And not just the opponents Pokémon, but her allies as well. If used competitively, one would want to faint as many Pokémon as quickly as possible, to boost her special attack in the process. Simply put, feelings, pain, and suffering from fellow Pokémon fainting gets Magearna pumped.

Just a reminder for the idiots who looked over this in the video. Effectiveness of moves only show for pokemon you've battled/seen already. Ledyba and other caught pokemon were already seen in the dex before it they were registered.

The type effectiveness is only there to REMIND you of what hurts what, the surprise factor of encountering a pokemon for the first time is still there. I know some of you know this already but there's more threads spreading false info than correct.
