I wanna see new Megas so I'm hoping that there will still be some, but Mega Evolutions are tied to the new Synchro mechanic in some way and since they're still keeping the latter under wraps, they aren't showing new Megas yet.
But it's more likely that Megas are just done now and GF is switching over completely to their new gimmick.

This thing is so overrated on /vp/ I don't even know where to begin. First off, it's just a tortoise, and Blastoise and Torkoal already pulled that off first and far better. Making it Flying in the first place was a huge mistake. Should have been Dragon but they were trying too hard to keep it "special" back then. Nowadays we have bluebirds and bats that are somehow considered dragons and this thing that is clearly, CLEARLY a fucking dragon is Flying despite not being able to fly.
