Do you guys make your pokemon competitive in post-game, or do you start doing so as soon as you can during the story?
I think I caught the smogonfag autism and am spending time breeding and EV training my mons even though I'm not even halfway through the story yet.
I've only ever played on the battle spot, but should I continue doing that or is it not worth the effort?

Might be talking out of my ass but it's hardly consequential, even on the battle spot. Just do whatever you want, you might want to use ability capsules and still EV train your mons though, but don't bother with breeding unless you get a really shitty nature

How did Poke-Cavemen even survive to build advanced technology? They lived in a world of dangerous wildlife, where even would be prey could paralyze you, put you to sleep or otherwise disable you, leaving you to whatever monster happened by. Pokemon would be constantly screwing with the weather and rearranging geography on a constant basis, making farming difficult. And even sturdy shelters were unsafe because some pokemon could just walk through the walls!

When I was like 10 I stole so many legendaries that way. I had a PC box full of Level 45 Groudon and Kyogre, and another one full of Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. I was the actual goddamn Team Rocket.

Do any of you know how to trade with yourself using VBA on one computer? I'm currently in Gen II, just steamrolled the E4 and want to dominate Kanto.
There is an option to enable GBA linking, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I don't think you can do it with VBA but there is another emulator that you can do it with, i did it a good few years back with red version (can't remember what it's called, i'lll have a look and come back), I remeber you had to change the file extension so it each time so each emulator could recognize it.
