Play it and love it up to the part where you get a gun. Then instantly alt+f4 and uninstall. That is how you enjoy this game.
If you want to actually play through it and destroy the good times you had with the first hours you´ll actually need a save game that skips a fight on a boat because the scripting is bugged and you can´t beat it

There will come a time when you are on a boat. You WILL need to download a saved game file from gamefaqs.com to progress because modern computers can't do what the game wanta them to do.

I remember just playing to a point where I encountered a bug and got past it following some instructions online.

I dunno, OP, I thought about this myself, because when I found myself trying to get into SRPGs with not much success. Despite liking the traditional turn based JRPGs. (Although I did finish FFT.) And I came to realization that I simply don't enjoy that type of gameplay much.

I really do want to get into Disgaea series someday. I really like the setting, the characters, art and music. But gameplay feels kinda like a chore.

Morons blinded by random acoustic guitar plucking, Oscar-bait writing and "action" QTE segments. The Last of Us might have been pretty fun had Naughty Dog bothered to make a new game, instead of half-assedly reusing the Uncharted engine.

Does anybody like the flying and boating parts of Sonic Transformed? I feel like they made the game worse.
Also the weapon that reverses other players' controls is fucking awful and shouldn't have been included in the game.

My unpopular opinion: I found it much less enjoyable than DD in general. Especially all the magic bullshit in the courtroom. I can tolerate it when you use it just during investigations, but this time it was over the line.
But with the finale of the game I hope Apollo has been written out of the story forever.

The overall plot in DD is kind of dumb, with the MUH DARK AGE OF THE LAW shit, but it actually remained self-contained with it. SoJ went full retard with the international flights back and forth, and it just really felt like too grand of a scale. 6-2 was the best case because it was just magic show bullshit with a fun mystery.

Add on to this that Sahdmadhi is a horrible no fun allowed prosecutor unlike Blackquill and that Ema was completely character assassinated, and SoJ is just not quite as good.

There are no games that "make you" savescum. Especially not stuff like XCOM. Yes, you sometimes get bad results that you can't realistically do anything about in games like this, like missing a shot and getting crit in return, but that's just part of the game. If something like that makes you savescum, that just means you're mentally incapable of accepting minor setbacks, even if those setbacks are wholly expected to occur now and then. That's a sign of an immature and undeveloped mind.
