I don't know what Bethesda will do, besides that it will likely disappoint, but things look terrible for both choices. The only way to flip it would be via the Dragonborn basically re-launching the Empire, but even that would be trouble enough to give an advantage to the Dominion still.

There arent a lot of interesting sidequests but its worth 16 BD's as something to fuck around with.
Would recommend finding a Mod or 2 to rebalance combat so that fights dont just turn into Stupidly large healthbars: The game and making some ammo scarcer/ more expensive though otherwise you'll quickly end up with more Ammo than you could ever use.
