If you are still defending the DCEU, you should neck yourself. They are objectively bad movies.

All I wanted was a good Green Lantern movie, just space cops with superpowers. But DC had to be retarded and put all their cash, directors and stake in batman and only batman.
Marvel can make a movie about fucking Ant-Man and people love it, review it highly and make millions off it. DC can barely get a few million off a superman movie. Makes zero sense.

So far, he's one of the few people I've seen who has been able to articulate the flaws in this film well, but he gave it a 'rotten' rating RT. He knows damn well how good the movie is (even thought some parts leave a bit to be desired), he just likes to get a rise out of people. Even with the third act, the movie is still an 8/10 at least.
I watched it and honestly didn't think it was a good film.
>>80077230
dude gay blacks lmao
>>80077230
This ((movie)) has no redeeming features aside from the sensationalism of gay black men being a focal point.
It's brokeback mountain with a race swap and the removal of good cinematography, script and acting.
what a fucking loser

What are some other movies that actually pull off some parallel storytelling?
I think Nocturnal Animals was my moty for 2016. It was so great. That atmosphere really did it for me.
Personally I loved the subtlety

what happened to his career?

>what happened to his career?
he never had one to begin with
>>80076183
He wasn't that interested in acting. I recently saw the making of Clerks, and Clerks II. He got the part of Randal because he just happened to be at the auditions for Clerks and read the lines with another dude. He wrote, directed, and starred in his own film but I haven't seen it. Perhaps the reception, or lack thereof, really cemented the fact that he'd stay out of the movie business.
It's kind of a shame, I think he's an extremely natural actor. And it's funny to know how fucking nervous he was when shooting Clerks for how amazing he pulled off Randal.
He doesn't want one.
Clerks 3 isn't happening "because one actor keeps refusing". Take a guess who it is.
