This movie needs a remake so bad, the shining potential in this scene has such promise. There are so many new film making techniques we've learned about and so much exposure to Hong Kong style sword fighting and wire-fu that Highlander could be so much flashier and more technical.

People could get into a movie I think, where the protagonist has to go around the world gathering power to fight the big boss, people are more shallow these days and John Wick is a thing so we proved that as long as the action is super tight and the gore is good then audiences will watch stuff like this.

Make Liam Neeson the Sean Connery and add a wide variety of swordfighting styles, tie it in to existing Highlander lore and a lot of cool shots and effects and you'd have a 100M domestic.

Just saying, anyway keep it 100 /tv/.
