so i was watching this scene from the first spiderman trailer and noticed that in the final scene of the trailer, and most likely the movie, peter tries to correct the flight path of a falling plane by using his web to pull the wing up to one side so the plane can bank around some buildings. what bugs, no pun intended , me is that this is not physically possible. If you are exerting a force to in one direction, ie pulling up on a wing, you are also exerting a force in an equal and opposite capacity. pulling up on the wing should not help since your body will be exerting a force on the same aircraft and it will result in a net force of zero. try this. try picking a chair up that you are sitting in with your arms. the reason you cannot do this is because even though you are actually lifting the chair, you are also exerting an equal force back down on the chair. if you pull up lightly, you will exert a small downward force. if you pull up with an increase of strength, you will exert a much larger downward force.

So why is this even considered a movie yet alone a masterpiece? It is just a common philosophical question masked in cinematography and music.
There is no comprehensive plot, no characters, no motivations.
Wouldn't it have been better if it has all of these? I mean the question which is asked is interesting and important but without characters it just floats around in a boring snoozefest.
