>Kotobukiya is making reproduction kits for Arnval and Strarf based on new Machineca (マシニーカ) bodies designed by Apsy.
>Plastica.jp will sell blank bodies once he's happy with the final design.
>Megami Device (メガミデバイス) is another proposed line using that new body, so they'll be compatible too. They could be GKs, model kits, or figures. Too soon to know.
>Frame Arms Girl continues with an unarmored kit plus the architect is up next, with another mech on the way.
>Blade teamed up with Megahouse to make some cheaper, 8cm tall 1:1 battle robot figures called Desktop Army. Their plan includes 3d printable add-ons to appeal to customizers.
tldr it's a good time to be a Shinkifag.

Where to buy second hand Shinkis:
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid Latvia.
>Mandarake - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images (they sometimes get mixed up).
>Yahoo Japan Auctions - same kanji as above, you'll need a proxy, try Noppin or FromJapan.
>Taobao - search 武装神姬 and use a proxy like Taobaoring, Taoboafocus, or Bhiner.
>Amiami occasionally gets some preowned. They tend to sell fast.
>Check the BST, My Figure Collection, and Busou Shinki World for sales.

This is weird. I literally just ordered and paid for one. Not even into the series nor have I bought a figure from it before, I just liked her design enough to buy one.

She does have a really great design, the heterochromia and winking makes it really. I wish more precure villains got releases.

I'm thinking of getting one of these little buzzing bastards but I want to see my options first. It must have a camera or a way to mount a camera, preferred would be customisability.

I also want to mount little remote controlled bb guns on one, but I'm not sure how that'd work.

Finally, it'd be nice if it had a flat top and/or a way to hook shit to the bottom. I reckon it'd be ace to fix on some lego (or god forbid mega blocks) shit as 'pilots', and maybe a jeep or something to the bottom (wouldn't it be ace if it could unhook over the ground)

/sperg

But yeah. Drones and shit.

>>mounting a camera
tons of quads by syma and hubsan have 'em built in, but you definitely get what you pay for with the cameras.

>>mounting an airsoft
don't bother, you'd need at least a sixth channel to actuate the trigger/firing mechanism, it will add too much weight for what you're willing to spend, and you're an idiot

>>flat top
can't think of any that have a strictly speaking 'flat' top, but even the x8c in your pic has enough real estate up top for a lego minifig.

tl;dr: that syma in your pic fulfills all your requirements, and is fairly affordable.

fly in beginner until you're sure you can recover from radio/gps failure, then fly beginner some more.
>>
>>5277368
I like the creativity of your thought process, but know that the carrying payload is almost nothing for most entry level drones. Sure you could mount some legos on them, I myself play a game with a friend of mine with our small quads where we each put a minifig on the top of them and try to knock the other one off of theirs first, but don't expect to add a ton of weight.

I love the Parrot Bebop, it's only 500 and the parts are reasonable to replace. They also sell it at Best Buy which means you can buy a warranty and anytime your dumbass crashes it you can just swap it for a new one. Cheapest drone insurance available.
>>
Will drone registration actually come to fruition? I thought that drones and quadcopters were deemed outside of the FAA's jurisdiction by a federal judge, does that not matter anymore?

I just made a pre-order of pic related. Do any of you guys have the other versions of this SRC? Considering this is same as the older versions, what do I need to expect from this guy?

Also this is my second SRC. My first one is Genesic Gaogaigar.

>Do any of you guys have the other versions of this SRC? Considering this is same as the older versions

There's only one other version of this guy, the one with the cape. The first SRC SKL bundled with the DVD is a completely different and smaller mold.

I also have the Final Count version on pre-order, didn't buy the one with the cape because I was waiting for news about a wings and eyeless head pack or version.
>>
>>5277138

I didn't know the first one (bundled with the DVD) is smaller than the caped version. Does this mean the cape version and Final Count version is in scale with the SRC Mazinkaiser?

Sorry for the late reply.

The Gimp and Winston Wolf both look like they have potential for setting up some funny photos.

Other than that, they look like trash. I wish ReAction would learn to make the style of the figures era-appropriate. The 'Kenner' look works perfectly for films like Big Trouble In Little China and Escape From New York because they're of that era. For a 90's film though, they should look more like Powers of the Force or something.

I want Playmates style ReAction figures, but even Playmates can't do paint apps on the level of their 90's stuff anymore.

Between TMNT, Toxic crusaders, Dick Tracy,a and a few more, Playmates had his cool, unique style; skewed, squat proportions. emphasis on gross details, bright colors, and a ton of sprue accessories.

I built the red one. It's okay. the "transformation" is not something you want to do many times as it is basically taking the whole thing apart and putting it back in different ways. The weapon mode is nice but only use some parts of the robot.

As a cheap robot model, it is pretty good

I wish it utilizes the pellermodel/RG frame pre-built-in-the-runners technology because that craziness should be used more

I'm a first year elementary school teacher and my school has this program where teachers can take a tote bag with a child's name and age, and fill it up with gifts. I took a tote for a 9 year old boy and have to figure out what to get. I want to choose a mix of useful things and toys, but what do you get a 9 year old without knowing them at all? What do 9 year olds want, aside from a game console?

I'm already getting a toothbrush and toothpaste, socks, and perhaps gloves and a hat with avengers or something? What about toys? I want to get him some cool toys. I have mainstream stores nearby like target, walmart, TRU etc. Help.

Unfortunately it's strictly anonymous. I asked the woman in charge if I could find out what he likes and she says no. So far I was thinking a small lego set, maybe a transformer? Action figures? No point in games if he may not have a console or DVDs if there's no tv. Some of these kids live in hotels.

So this exists. I can't say I'm not surprised, seeing as there's a disturbing amount of R34 of the Xenomorph.

I'm just disappointed with the fact that hyper-fantastical sexual fetishism has become so mainstream that things like this are now marketable.

Whatever happened to a good looking girl with nice tits? Why can't some people get off unless they have an ovapositor shoved down their throat to lay eggs in their stomach?

The Xeno is already a giant walking rapey penis with teeth and THIS is what seems odd to you?

Fuck, putting like 80% of a human body in there is like, actively toning the fetish shit down.

There are still plenty of hot girls with nice tits figures. Don't worry. That didn't die out.

As far as the figure....It looks alright, I guess. I don't like the head at all, for some reason.

>I'm just disappointed with the fact that hyper-fantastical sexual fetishism has become so mainstream that things like this are now marketable.
This isn't mainstream at all and sexy figurines have been marketable for a long, long time, mate.

>Whatever happened to a good looking girl with nice tits?
That's exactly what this is. A good looking girl with nice tits in a xeno costume. Does Halloween confuses the shit out of you?
>>
I personally like it. I've always been a fan of monster girl designs so this might be the first Hot Toy I purchase since I dont give a fuck about Capeshit or Star Wars like most of the toy community. I like how the Facebook community thinks it's offensive and Giger would be rolling in his grave when Giger fucking loved this type of shit. Now only if OE would finally release ND3 they would look perfect together. We need more monstergirls.
