It seems like every time I read something about the Sailor Moon SHF, someone's complaining about at least one arm always coming off. I have Moon, so I can confirm that's the case with her, but do any of them not have this affliction?
Hey Usagi, can you come over here and give me a hand?
>>5290127
Mine are fine. Mars' pop off from time to time though. I have a bigger problem with the bows on their lower backs popping off.
>>5290127
I have Haruka and she's totally fine, no loose limbs or anything.
Black Friday deals were shit, heres hoping Cyber Monday is better edition.

What if Transformers was good?
>>5308414
That is an option certainly. But I'm somewhat of a completionist if I want something.
Still, what I could do I guess is get a black set and a purple set, and just use those for Defensor and Menasor. Superion really is a solid rock all by himself.

it would be if we could have the japanese g1 tone, victory and master force are super robot wars as fuck.
THE GIFTENING HAS BEGUN
Everyone should now be shopping for their assignments, and try your best to have your packages shipped by the first week in December. Shipping slows waaaaaay down during the holiday season, so get those packages out early to ensure they get there by Christmas!
To protect yourself from false Grinching accusations (who would do such a thing?) you can send me the tracking info or a picture of the package before you send it. This is important because Grinches will be put on a list that I will give to the Secret Santa organizer next year, so that you may never ruin our fun again! Mwahahahaha
If you receive a present, wait to open it till Christmas, or don't! It's your present, do what you want with it! Just post a picture of your awesome gift here so we can use it for a collage for next year!
Lastly! If you have any questions for your assignment or comments for your Santa, send them to me, I will be doing my best to quickly rely them so that you may communicate.
Patiently waiting for my guy to open his package, or at least let me know he got it.
Finally bought the bulk of my person's gift. I skipped going to the Lawrence Arms Christmas Show just to get you something extra. Now I'm gonna fill it up with some other goodies and send it out next week. I'm pretty excited.
>Dispatch from outward office of exchange
Thanks, mr Japan postman
I'll give Star Wars: The Force Awakens one thing, it has somehow managed to resurrect Micro Machines.
I mean really, last time I saw MMs was back in something like 2003
>>5276118
what an interesting story, I guess when you personallystopped seeing micro machines they just all vanished into the fucking ether.
twit.
>>5276166
Well *actually* they were discontinued in 2006 by Hasbro. (So I may have gotten my date wrong).
>>5276175
Well I haven't actually bought any, however from the packaging I can tell they're using the original molds for some of the original trilogy stuff and I'm pretty sure they did a repaint for one of the new Force Awakens characters.
Honestly, my hope is that this might, *might* get Hasbro to revive the MM line. Then again seeing how they handled it when they bought it off Galoob that's probably not worth seeing. Hope springs eternal though and all that...
Anyway, anyone else still have their collection?
It's been a while since I've seen an unboxing thread, and I just got this. Don't even remember what I ordered.

Can we get a toy repair general going?
Recently a dude I know gave me a box of busted toys he's amassed over the years and I'm slowly fixing up some of them. In the box there were two busted threea figures I think look pretty neat but one has had a wrist peg snapped off in the socket and then crudely dug out leaving the socket way to big for a new wrist peg to fit into. Does anybody have any advice on how to tighten up the socket so a new wrist peg will stay in it without falling out?
I believe koto and wave sell ball and socket joint parts where you drill a hole and glue them in place if you want to just outright replace the joint.
>>5307926
Show pics.
>>5307926
This is your friend, you can either put it into the socket itself, or coat the peg. Let it dry for 24 hours and it will add a clear layer to the figure, Can scrape it off with a knife, or add more if it's not stiff enough. I use it for loose joints mainly but when I originally bought the white MoMo girl her peg was too thin to stick properly so I just put two coats in the socket painting it on with a cotton swab.
>Figuarts Pikachu
>3,500
For what purpose
>>5307555
Because people will buy it.
This looks like it fell out of a time-hole from 2002.
>still no SHF Trainer with starter packs
>tfw those three awesome series from last season will never get any figures, not even statueshit
>Shimoneta
They dropped the ball sooo goddamn hard in the DIY sex toys episode
>dudes
>not using vibes
It's surprising that the Monster Girls haven't received figures in some form, I can see them being very popular. Hell I'd be down for grabbing the Spider chick and the Lamia just because there really aren't any other options for either type for figure in a 5-6"ish scale.
>>5307392
that potato thing looks interesting though.
Hasbro and Mattel are two of the largest toy companies in America (and possibly in the world as well). Which company do you think is better and why? I can't really say, as my only experience with Mattel was their old Food Fighters figures...
Both have their faults but at least hasbro has properties that for the most part actual move.
Meanwhile mattel lives off monster high barbie and hot wheels. Most of their other lines don't really do much. Their boys toys are basically just hot wheels.
For collectors like us that aren't hot wheels fags I'd say both are 5/10 companies. There are better ways to get better DC and marvel toys for the most part, then tfs usually (sometimes kinda) are better by takara so their offerings are better to go for (kinda).
>>5307291
I see hasbro making more fun toys for kids and giving their adult fans what they kinda want.
Where mattel forces you to subscribe to a membership if want there he-man/DC stuff and their QC is horrible (for example 66' batman line). Also they release items that are really overpriced like the bck2thefurture hoverboard and the batmoblie that costed a ton of money for hollow plastic
>>5307317
Doesn't hasbro make transformers? And don't they actually make toys for kids
Your opinions on 3rd party transformers
>>5306958
Most are shit. Some are good.
>>5306958
Anything my mmc, maketoys, fans toys is going great to be good.
Fansproject, warbotron, planet x all have very good quality for the most part.
KFC and x transbots are the only companies with aby issues that I can think of.
>>5306992
Fucking phone man.
Howdy, let me tell you a story, but first the tldr part because it may bore you.
>Best ways to store ho-twheels/matchbox cars loose/in packaging
>Are they going to be worth anything in our lifetimes
>Why boxes/why not
>Example of $$$
Now for my story that when I thought about made me think.
>Be spoilt brat
>mummy and daddy always got me hotwheels I always wanted with the odd matchbox
>Stored the great majority in a 42LTR sub loose
>Most are scratched/damaged
>Kept faves displayed out in the open and in relatively good condition
>Then moved to draw, loose
>One was a special commemorative car that I kept in its boxed smothered in bubble wrap
>Years pass by and old enough to buy my own shit
>found all the "good" cars in draw
>Turns out my memory was so shit they shared the draw with some socks
>One HW original, some phantom think, all mirrored chromed, scratched to fuck
>find gutted remains of commemorative car behind draw
>little brother responds "you don't keep toys in those things do you, shouldn't you play with them?
>Rage
>Forgot about them again
>5 years into current job decide to walk into toy aisle of super market
>See hotwheels
>Fall in love with darth vader's car
>Start again
In the last month I bought about 20 of the little guys, mostly bought with discounts.
Reason why I'm thinking is I only allocated a draw for them (the boxed ones, good ones are long gone, must be out with the spider infested shed) and its full, worst part is one I bought out of impulse 3 weeks ago has a hole in the box (war machine marvel 16) and about to gut him out since the box is worthless now, its not the draw that done the box in because its a stab mark and I'm pretty sure the cards of these boxes can't pierce the plastic shells, least not without damaging the cardboard backings themselves...
I know they're my things, but what does the majority say, open them up and save space or keep them boxed like a hoarded and sell them later down the line when the economy hits the shit?
Drawer, you illiterate, long-winded shitfuck.
