Welcome to the MTG flake/lore thread!
Previously: WotC hates angels or something, some talk about Pre-Release, Serena is the Jace of the snowstorm, flakes that shouldn't have sparks need justification, I am angel Hitler and what accent should Owl Mom have?

REMINDER:
If you want ANYTHING to go in the repo, just summon me. Otherwise I will only put writefagging and sheets in the repo.
Also, I added the blank template to the ALL FLAKESHEETS folder. And the old snowsheets are under "Snowstorm sheets" > "1- ALL FLAKE SHEETS."
To summon me simply say
>OP OP, I SUMMON THEE. PLACE THIS FILE IN THE REPOSITORY.
Unless that's too gay.

>>Information
This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a sixteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
>Rules
At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process
I hope everyone has fun.

Lock the rock
The continuing adventures of an Anon and his vampire girlfriend who did something violent and embarrassing again.
Twitter:https://twitter.com/QuestGuy1
Previous Thread:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/48208432/
Your girlfriend just lost a fight to your mutual werewolf friend and then won a match of gay chicken, much to the increasing concern of your angel partner.
Winnie and Sibella seem to be making up now. Sibella embraces the shorter alpha, putting her on her toes to hug the tall vampire queen. "Oh Winnie, I'm sorry, I totally got carried away, I don't know what came over me."
"Ah, you were just concerned is all." Winnie's tail wags happily behind herself. "Things will get better once we sit down with the rest of the girls and catch up..."
You notice the strange wendigo girl named White Fell is starting to look a little uncomfortable, even more so than Abby... "She's putting her clammy dead hands all over her..." She mutters.
"...And maybe it was a little more than just concern..." Winnie sniffs the air and its Sibella's turn to look embarrassed. "I got a good wiff of your breathe when you went in to kiss me...looks like you got yourself a new blood buddy..." Winnie winks at you over her shoulder. "Put you in an aggressive mood huh?"
"Um...I...well..." Sibella's face flushes.
"I hope that's ALL you and her did..." Abdiel says.
"Come on Abdiel, how many times do I have to say it..." You reply.
"So you're into that vampire stuff...kink-ky..." W-Anon says. And coming from him, that means something.
-contThanks to everyone that's checked out Cape World! It's shaping up to be a success! It looks like it might even have more than just me making quests in the setting. Has there ever been two quests running at the same time that take place in the same universe?
>>48325016
do we earn some respect from W-Anon just now?
Also, I didn't get a chance to participate in Cape World, but I'll try to catch up.It looks really fun.
>>48325016
"You two can catch up later." You say saving giving your girlfriend an out from Winnie's teasing. "Costilla says Nayara wants us back at the base."
"I...might have gotten carried away with him..." Sibella admits to Winnie under her breathe. "Y-you know how stressed I've been and how I never...had a boyfriend before..."
Angelic halo-enhanced physicality means enhanced hearing as well. Not as much as a werewolf's and nowhere near as much as you do when you have Lucy on, but you have it. And its enough to hear Sibella's confession.
"It's okay." Winnie says with a final nuzzle. "You've been under a lot of pressure."
"So have you...I just didn't want to add it to." Sibella says holding her paws. "Whatever stupid things I've done know that I only wanted what was best for you. Even if my actions might not seem to mean it..."
"Hey, its cool Batty, its cool. You want to blow off steam on someone I'm that someone. And hey, you know the tournament isn't too far away now. We're 1-1 as far as I'm concerned and I need to be at my fighting best so..."
"Right. If I somehow get some time for fun I'm your sparring partner."
"...I thought that...I could be..." White Fell mutters and looks at the ground uncomfortably.
"Well, see you all around. We're off to have our heads bitten off by Nayara." You say walking toward the Leviathan.
"Who's Nayara?" W-Anon asks.
"Big Mike doesn't think we're up to the task wit the Master and everything. He's sent us a nanny basically."
"Oh, rough..."
"Hey, its a living. You fight psychotic vampires, demons, and superintendents."
"You take care Winnie." Sibella says letting Winnie's hands go. "And YOU White Fell..." Sibella turns toward White Fell with a ghoulish sweep of her tattered robes.
White Fell gulps.
"You obey and respect your alpha. You've caused her a considerable amount of grief!"
"Yes! Yes!" White Fell nods, little horns shaking. "I have done wrong toward Alpha and will redeem myself with servitude!"
-cont
>>48325462
"Good! See that you continue to be good...or I shall return!"
White Fell recoils, her tail darts between her legs. Winnie places a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Fell." She says. "The big bad vampire is more of a lover than a fighter."
White Fell looks relived for a moment, then concerned.
"She's not going to hurt you. Not so long as I'm around."
"...Not so long as you stay a good servant." Sibella adds.
"Boy, I sure hope Nayara likes waiting!" You shout form the Behemoth. "You know how those super disciplinarian nuns like to be kept waiting!"
"Got to go. Take care Winnie." Sibella says.
"And you take care too Batty."

Media Day. Everyone was busy making themselves look good for the picture taking scheduled in the late afternoon, right around the time you get off work actually. The Etiquette Club was the only club not doing anything to actually prepare, being prepared from Day 1. Everyone else was putting on their makeup, washing their faces in the river, shaving their legs and rubbing lotion on their arms and faces. Even the Poles and the Motorcycle Club were dressing themselves up a bit, brushing their hair in deliberate attempts to make the unkempt styles look good.
Your own crew was no exception. Winona was checking herself out in the mirror rested on Oliver’s engine deck, and to that she carefully applied a nice coat of lipstick. She looks over however to see Stack resting herself on the ground, hair frazzled, arms folded, and a healthy coating of dirt on her cheeks. “Stack, come on!” Winona whines to her. “At least brush your hair.”
“We drive tanks every weekend, all the makeup and stuff you guys do is gonna be pointless after a good day of tanking,” she says. Well, she’s got a point. Stack opens one eye, shining it to Winona. “Y’all are too concerned with the ‘materiel’ and the physically attractive. Not enough on the inner beauty.”

[2/2]
Winona huffs. “Is this because your boobs haven’t grown in?”
“Hmph, I’m proud of my body, however undeveloped it is!” Stack flexes her arms, grinning at Winona. “You should try being proud of yourself too, Winona!”
You walk up to the two of them, having refreshed yourself in the river and washed up. “You two seen Ingrid?”
“Campfire eating breakfast,” says Winona. “Were you planning on going on a date with her or something?” You gently slap Winona, shutting her up. She giggles a little.

mat beat up gawyn and galad in a duel, after still being weak from being semi healed from his cursed dagger wound. So as long as it is melee only, I would say Mat is best.
>>48321441
Even then, Matt's incredible luck means he could potentially accidentally do something literally impossible, and make it look graceful as fuck and planned the whole time. That's BEFORE he got genius tactical planning and fighting (and dancing) muscle memory of uncountable ancient heroes. After that, he went one-on-one, in the middle of actual war battle, with Couladin, who was at least considered dangerous with his spears by reasonable Aiel. And started taking down Myrddraal practically subconsciously.
Reminder that this is a tournament-legal card.
Not even the game's developers take MtG seriously anymore.
If you come to a tournament without artifact removal in the sideboard, you will most likely achieve nothing
It's a 4 toughness artifact creature for 7 mana. Too many things can remove it for it to actually be good.
Of all the things in Mirrodin that were game breakingly powerful, THIS is what you pick out? Some jank angel?
Is there ANYTHING or any way the Warhammer 40k Universe could take out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or its Super form?

Ok, how as a GM do I not just have him murdered by NPCs for his transgressions?
Death would be too quick, the antagonist wants him to suffer.
>>48327074
>Ok, how as a GM do I not just have him murdered by NPCs for his transgressions?
Because he's a sadist, which means he's going to lock them up in his torture dungeon first. That means an opportunity for an escape plan.
>>48327098
I don't want to just ruin the game for him. Seems like a pretty big gimp to just leave him a bloody mess
How to represent goblins as a serious thread?
>a serious thread?
They are all wearing expensively tailored clothes.
>>48325891
Just a regular goblins. In a setting where government is convinced peaceful coexistence with them is not only possible but desirable even.
Eberron.
Are tables with a sunken surface somehow better for gaming?
I always see this with gaming tables, but I've only used card tables.
Dice are far less likely to roll off a sunken table.
>>48325810
Really? That's it?
I just don't throw my dice like I'm playing craps.
Seems like a solution for a non-issue.
Plus, having to work on thin table ledges for other stuff seems like a pain in the ass.
>>48325797
Most of the sunken surface table designs mean fewer lost dice / game parts as they're far less likely to be dropped off the table, and many have a cover for the sunken area allowing a game to be covered and resumed later while still using the table normally otherwise.
