So I once upon a time had this PDF but now cannot find it in my old folders. The official links are broken and I know there were revisions and also a beast master expansion. I'd love if someone could share this.

God forbid that people ask about personal experiences on a fanboard
>>542881
I'm sorry if that sounded mean, it wasn't my intention. I've never been to tokyo, but the first adress of this site (origami house) is most certainly a good place to stop if you like origami.
How do you prevent dust from fusing into the surface of your papercraft over the years?
Glass cabinets are pretty straight forward, but also not cheap if you don't want IKEA quality.
Personally I've made great experiences with negative ion generators, but they produce a little ozone smell.
Hey /po/.
I posted a thread in /diy/ about calculating the cut angle for the picture.
I'm making a range hood for my forge and someone suggested I ask here.
If anyone here knows the name of this process or can provide some links to some information on how to calculate this I would appreciate it greatly.
I'm a first year sheet metal apprentice and I have asked my lecturers and the other guys at work about this and they either didn't know or didn't care enough to teach me.
The general idea is the hood would have 4 sides and a top with an open bottom. The base perimeter would be 600mm x 800mm and the top plate would be 400mm x 600mm. I'm guessing the length of the sides would depend on the size of the top and bottom square but as I said.. I'm just an apprentice and haven't been taught much about angles and such yet.
Any help or links is greatly appreciated.
Side note, I'd like to learn how to calculate this manually so any online calculators are appreciated but I'd like to be able to do this myself.

The calculation:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sine
As sine of an angle is the ratio of the length of the opposite side to the length of the hypotenuse. In this case sine(α) is square root of 2 devided by square root of 3 = 0,816496
so α=54,735°
anyone got some oragami fingerbox stories?
i just finished my one, have you guy's got a collection too?
excuse the /b/ tag, someone on b asked me to timestamp a picture of it
here it is in use, it's quite stable but there is much to be desired.
>fingerbox stories
Don't pretend these things are cute and harmless, my brother died that way.

Yeah she's a shithead for thinking this subject can be taken so lightheartedly. This is approaching some dark territory.

Hi guys po!!, anyone have a beautiful model from etsutan papercraft, specially YAMATO SPACE BATTLESHIP....thanks in advance...
Hey /po/. I'm completely new to the origami scene. The only thing origami related I've ever made in my life was one of those frogs that jumped if you held down on it. I've taken a recent interest in origami though. It seems like a fun and rewarding hobby. I would like resources. Any links to YT channels, websites, or anything else is greatly appreciated.

en.origami-club.com. There you can look at good manuals for easy and difficult Origami works.

Thank you, anon. I will check it out.

Also, how well does folding with square plain sheets (standard printing paper) work. I'd prefer to use that rather than going out of my way to buy expensive paper made exclusively for origami.
Show me all of your variations and original inventions of this guy.
>>542376
maybe you should link the diagram or say what is is because i don't have a fucking clue.
This used to be my signature design back in the day.
>>542390
Can't say I know what they're called but every kid used to fold them out of notebook paper or ruled pad.

I love the slim designs
ITT Arcade machines, change machines, general diorama stuff.
Total outsider to paper craft here.
Serious question....if you wanted to make your own box that dispenses Nerds candy (two kinds, segregated), but make it a round box the size of a tobacco tin.....how would you do that?
Also, is there a way to engineer a counter twisting mechanism, so that you could be rotating two round areas at the same time?
>>542318
1. why are you asking this here?
2. i dont get what you mean with "doing" it, you want a template or what?
3. "counter twisting" what?!
this sounds like you have a homework or something
>>542321
I'm asking because it's on my mind, I'd love to just create my own round dispenser for candies to freak people out.
Counter twisting separate round compartments is just a thought.
Ideally someone might be able to help with a template or diagram
>>542344
it doesn't seem like to hard an endeavor...
Is this what you mean?
The "counter twist mechanism" is going to need a little more explaining, though.
What can I do with paperboard?
HUEHEUHE, my friend.
I have this paper id like to fold but nothing I can think of looks blue and leathery. My skill level is about high intermediate and this paper is a little thicker than standard kami. What should I fold?
A dinosaur

box
>>542254
Could you be more specific?
Are there any free templates for paper masks and shit because all I can find is shit hidden behind a paywall
I'd plan everything out myself but I'm not that good yet
>>542238
what kind of paper mask?
>>542256
I'd love an animal skull or something, mainly for photographic purposes
There's plenty of that stuff on etsy but the templates cost money

I'm a real retard.. of course de 22 doesn't counts.. damn
