So for school I have to fold an A4 to an A6 in 10 different ways but I honestly can't even figure out one way, it has to become a book/card thing so it can't consist of very tiny pages

From A4 to A6, it basically takes two folds - each time folding the rectangle in half in the middle of the long side...
As a result, when you unfold it, your A4 square will only have two creases (linking the middle of each same-sized sides).

So, you need 10 ways of folding this?
I can see 4 ways:
1) fold the long sides in half, then fold the resulting long sides in half, unfold everything.
2) fold the short sides in half, then fold the long sides in half, unfold everything.
3) fold in half along the long sides, unfold, fold in half along the short sides, unfold.
4) fold in half along the short sides, unfold, fold in half along the long sides, unfold.

If you combine valley folds and mountains folds, you can reach 12 ways.
Example:
5) The same as 1), but the second fold is in the opposite direction compared to 1).
6) The same as 1), but the first fold is in the opposite direction compared to 1).
7) The same as 2), but the second fold is in the opposite direction compared to 2).
8) The same as 2), but the first fold is in the opposite direction compared to 2).
For 9) to 12), you can use the same idea with 3) (for 9) and 10) ) and 4) (for 11) and 12) ).

But that's pretty stupid...

What kind of assignment is that?
>>
>>546399
Well it's not just about the folding, we have to make a "badge" that hangs around people's neck showing their name and function and there has to be a page with a map and a few other things. Thanks for your reply!
>>
>>546403
A picture of the wanted end-result would have been great.

(Also, you can fold in 16 ways by applying the same principles.)

how are these machines for cutting small parts? I've been looking at them for a bit but never bought one yet...

With a fresh blade you can cut super duper small parts. It gets worse over time though.

Any recommends for Greek style masks & helmets. Best I've found are pic related. Also why doesn't /po have a sticky?!

Because /pol/ never read it.
As for Greek themed papercraft. I got nothing. Just keep googling.

Any base shape masks that are good to work from? Helmets or faces?

Hello /po/ i usually go by kreaton online (hence the name) and I'm usually a /b/ type of guy. However, I've been considering origami as a hobby as I feel I'm starting to outgrow /b/ my days are pretty dull and with nothing else to do than watch t.v. and stare at my phone, I feel like this would be something nice to start.
So general newcomers thread I suppose, first question I've got: Is origami as difficult as I've heard? Was it hard to get into at first?
Pic unrelated

Why the hell are you namefagging you piece of trash?
Go the fuck back to /b/

I'm looking for a cute low poly simple and big headed (AKA SD) poodle model to make for my girlfriend.

Several similar designs here:

Looks like you could easily modify the creases on the leaf surface to be like the ones in your picture.

So..ive been folding since the 5th grade at school. In 6th grade i was teaching other classes..nothing serious just basic folds...i was always alone the teachers wanted me to meet new kids this way but it never worked. Thats not the point. I was just weird...

Im 29 now. Still folding i can remember all these:
A squirrel
Armadillo
Elephant
Dog
Cat
A hand
Dragonfly
A bat
A sloth (pic related)
A dinosaur
A ghost phantom
A sparrow
Fish
Mushroom

Other things i cant remember but if i do i remember the model and can fold it...im not smart i just remember origami...useless skill

I challenged myself by folding a crane (easiest model) blindfolded..it came out perfect but noone was around to see...

Im not bragging...im just bored..can someone motivate me to create more origami..

Oh and you are just an autist for thinking folding paper is any relevant.
Hope you didn't left your light on too long before your parents told you how devastating it is for nature my little jockey.

Welp, my fat ass ate 6/8 slices and got too full to finish the rest. Now I have a box that is too big to put in my minifridge. I could be a normal human being and wrap it on a plate or stick it in the kitchen fridge, but that's no fun. Does /po/ know how to make this big box into a little box?

is your pizzy slice rotten now?
>>
>>545820
Yeah. ;_;
>>
>>545817
Easy.
-First put the pizza in the top right or left corner and close the box
-Fold it horizontally once
-Fold it vertically once
-Done. You now have a box that's a quarter size of the original.

can i make this...

If your bill has approximately the same proportions as a dollar bill (about 1:2.35), then you shouldn't have any problem.
