how come _____ cost more than a Corvette? Corvette has more horse power.................
>>14221360
Because the NSX isn't ugly, is more reliable, and can turn.
Rarity.
It makes sense for a base corvette to be worth virtually nothing vs a more rare base NSX
NSX type R is also worth more than a Z06/ZR1 due to rarity.
>pic related is a ZR1 which is probably the most rare of the vettes that hasn't quite hit the "classic" zone yet
What is the most underdog car of our time
No 80s cars
Not saying bad car, worst car, or slowest
I'm talking world of performance so it is at least a performance car or considered one
Not underrated car or sleeper car
dis
Literally an AE86 tribute. Slow af in a straight line thanks to that whopping 200hp and shitty torque curve.
>>14221392
What the fuck is that
>>14221406
Is 200hp supposed to be slow
Off road general.
2x4s, 4x4s and even 6x6s are welcomed.
Straight axle vs IFS arguments should be ignored and their posters hung off a bridge.
Starting with some pictures of today's little adventure.
I got lost this weekend too.

A little flex action by a buddy I just met
I have 40k-45k to spend on a car.
Would you get a fully loaded 2016 mustang GT or would you buy a used Porsche 997.2 (base or S depending on whats out there )
>>14221122
Get a good condition 964 instead.

Can we discuss FWD and becoming the fast underdog in a world that hates us ? How do we beat the Supra in old Hondas and Toyotas? How do we beat the GTR or new cars?

>performance/luxury cars require premium
What's the point of the middle octane?
>>14220834
runs breddy gud
For cars that require 89. And to help with the scam that they are three different qualities of fuel instead of jist octane rating.
>>14220834
A lot of cars that 'require' premium would usually run fine on 89, thanks to the knock sensor.
Like, in Australia, my owners manual says my Toyota 86 SHOULD be given 98 Premium, but it can run 95 with no discernible change in engine performance. I put 91 in it once because I was on a back road, and the only service station within 300 kilometres only had 91, and even that didn't cause an issue - I didn't floor it, and the knock sensor adjusted accordingly.
>not posting contact info in your craigslist ad
god fucking damnit, /o/. i need another vehicle ASAP and barely any of these fucking faggots, definitely none who own any of the vehicles I'm interested in, put any kind of contact info in ads because MUH INNURNET PRIBACY and it's really fucking my shit up. someone out there desperately needs a running driving vehicle to get to work and not listing any fucking way for me to contact you is only prolonging this shitty situation.
>hold me, br/o/s
also, post /o/-related rage.

If racing tires are flat and smooth if you wear out the treads of your tires completely then they would become performance tires then. Right?
No, there's no sticky rubber underneath your treads. Racing slicks wear out even faster, sometimes when all the sticky rubber is gone and sometimes earlier if the rubber compound is a sort that only remains sticky for a certain number of heat cycles. This should really go in that stupid questions thread.
>>14220555
yes
>>14220555
Not really, race tires are made of a different rubber compound.
Why don't you drift when you turn that corner /o/?
youd hit an oncoming car anon
>>14220540
Because I don't drive on that side of the road
i dont drift in reverse
How much would you pay for this? I'm planning on offering 500 if anything, it's a fucking pos http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/5362155549.html
>250000 miles
>non op
$500 for a sports car? Fucking kids these days
1000$
It's worth more in parts and since it's in a dry state mileage doesn't matter imo (no rust) since you can drop a 1.8 into it for pennies
>>14220016
>Offering $1,000 for a non op when a couple hundred more gets you a decent condition running car
What's the point of buying a 911 over a boxster or cayman? Why would anyone spend more money on a car that's slower and has the engine in the wrong place?
>muh heritage
nah but really, 911 looks better, and people want the name. so porsche can charge that.
>>14219924
>4.6 -60
lol what, its 4 flat. carrera s does it in like 3.7
>>14219954
100km/h is faster than 60mph
So here is my situation. I might get a nice raise soon and would be able to afford a new car.
- The old is a 2014 Focus ST.
- I Live in Germany and quite far off, so not too much city traffic
- My DD is short, 2x 10km
- Here there are two cars available soon that cost very much the same with all options
2015 Mustang GT or 2016 Focus RS
I want an NON-convertible, manual. What is the better choice? We have snow in the winter and MPG is not important. On the wet, the ST already spins its wheels like crazy and I do want to carry a few female colleagues after hours from time to time.
Any suggestions? Would a V8 warm up even a little on such a short DD? Are the Stang Backseats really unbarable for ~5km rides? I assume i can use the power on the AWD much more often than RWD.

2017 ford fusion sport
The Continental, in non blurry form, is actually really close to the concept.
And the concept, for comparison.
Those door handles look really out of place otherwise it looks pretty nice if not a bit generic
Hopefully the avista gets similar treatment but I wouldnt hold my breath

They look odd, but I love them, in the same way I love the Nissan Juke.
