>2013 MINI Cooper S
>55K miles
Stop me from pulling the trigger. 55K sounds like a lot.
>>14226259
don't buy a mini in the first place. just don't. you'd be better off all around getting a Fiesta ST.
>>14226259
the newer mini cooper s's have issues is what i've heard from a bmw mechanic, I own 2002- 2005 model which were the most robust ones with the eaton m45 supercharger. Never had any issues with it and it's at 75k's (km's)
just mi 2cents
>>14226306
As much raving reviews as the Fiesta ST gets, I swore off all Ford.
>>14226319
Id your year, or the Mini in general fun to drive?
So I think I blew out one or all of my speakers today. When I got out of my car the sound quality was fine, but when I got back in and turned the music up the quality was distorted and grainy, like a radio station with bad reception. Would anyone be willing to suggest some good speakers to buy as replacements? I drive a '99 Honda Accord if it matters.
Why not remove it first and inspect it before making assumptions?

>>14226265
Well I'm not super car savy and I've been considering new speakers for a long time. I'd be more concerned with making it worst or fucking something else up.
>>14226269
Noted, but still open to other suggestions.
Halp pls.
OK to anyone who has owned a 4.6 mustang, has anybody experienced the water pump being froze in the block? I have beat on and pryed it every which way and have barely gotten it to budge. Am I doing something wrong here or am I going to have to resort to heat to get it out?
they normally just fall off.
did you remove all the bolts?
>>14226243
Yes, only 4 hold it in. I have been at it for 2days now.
>>14226263
then hit it harder.

but from what im noticing with the hammer marks, you are hitting the WRONG direction.
hit more outward towards the radiator, its receded inwards.
when in doubt, wheel puller.
Your thoughts? Did Honda get the pickup Truck right this time around?
>>14226217
Is it body on frame, and does it have V8 as an option?
>>14226279
Unibody, V6 only. FWD available.
And no, they didn't do it right. Too fat, apparently no long bed. Should've been a sub/compact.
>>14226313
Honestly , if they're aiming at the Tacoma , Colorado and other Midsized Trucks then it will sell. Depends how affordable it is
How damaging is it to vomit on someone's car? A co-workers been really pissing me off lately, and I figure I can vomit on his car and then call in sick and get off scott-free. Will it fuck his car permanently? Also, if it matters, it's supposed to be 9 degrees Fahrenheit on the day I plan to do it.
>>14226018
Talk to him about it instead of damaging his property, asshat.
Not damaging at all, but I hope you get fired for it anyway.
>I'm a huge pussy who can't confront anybody about things that bother me
>I'll just puke on their stuff instead, that'll show him
Would a renault 4 be a daily driving car? How does it compare to the twingo or other meme cars on /o/?
Will it make me look like a hipster faggot?
>>14225940
it will be slow AF that's for sure.
>>14225940
For city's or light offroad it's great. For highways not so much...
>>14229260
Idk man, what do you want to know?
Bought my first car
/o/ helped me find her, so here she is
I wanted a cheap car they handled well and goes fast
So I bought an old K platform
I hope to track her some day
>>14225913
This is not a K-car. If you got an automatic you fucked up beyond belief. Even the manuals in these things suck, personally seen shifter assembly break on one.
>>14225923
What do you mean it's not a k car? And yeah it's manual of course
this is some fucking shit op
I'm writing a novel centered mostly around a car stealing ring, and I've got a problem. I've never stolen a car, and I feel like my book is a huge pile of shit because its based completely on fiction. I was just wondering if you guys had any tips, if you've stolen cars,if you've got your car stolen, i'd like to know about it.
Just watch Gone in 60 seconds
>>14225905
I did and it helped a little, but It is also totally stupid in terms of plot. also I dont want a carbon copy of gone in 60 seconds, i want to know more about the world.
>it was a good movie desu
>>14225932
Well, sorry I can't help you, but you can have these scenes from Top Gear.

>drive old beat-up Camaro 20 miles over the speed limit but nobody gives a fuck because Nebraska is the best place to drive in
>chuck cans over my left shoulder all the way to the factory
Sorry if this is a full on downer; things are pretty rough for me right now.

>Wake up in a stupor after an 8 hour calculus binge with buddies.
>Down some aspirin and make my way to the underground parking lot in the cold embrace of the night; unclear exactly why.
>Begin unwrapping old faithful from her fabric blanket.
>Faintly smile as I run my hand over the familiar indents of the wheel.
>Rich fumes lazily envelope the parking spot as the V6 warms itself up.
>Make my way out as street lights systematically scan over the interior.
>Finally arrive at my old stomping grounds, now inhabited by the next generation.
>Kill the ignition and make my way towards the guardrail by the edge of the hill.
>Looking at my old town for what felt like an hour. Remembering all the memories from past friends, first loves, and times of strife.
>Quietly walk back and get into the car.
>Begin softly crying; my expression unbroken.
>Turn her over, and begin hooning my way through the winding hills back for another day.
Though these times are tough, the road will always be there for me. Maybe this coping mechanism can help some other anons weather the storm.
bump for a ded thread

I live pretty far north and the winters can get nasty. I want a car that can handle a good bit of snow but I don't want to end up in a truck and I don't want to be that guy on the side of the highway, pic related.
Subaru /thread
>>14226197
You can't /thread your own post but I would have /threaded anyway. Subaru + snow tires can conquer almost anything.

Do Front Win Drive cars even need snow tires?
It seems kinda unnecessary.

>>14225683
no, they'll crash just fine with or without them

Why do you guys hate fwd so muc
What is the sportiest truck
Something that will beat miatas and supras

what's the point of truck racing if they aren't hauling anything?
Hey /o/, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going back to jail again. I made a thread last week about my problems with being unable to pay the $5000 court fines after getting convicted for faking the car registration sticker and already serving one month in jail, and now I can't pay the fines anymore after losing my job. Court gave me the option of serving a 60 day jail sentence if I can't pay, and I took that instead since it's better than being homeless at this point anyway.
Learn from my mistakes and don't fuck up like I did. Pay your car registration.
Dude car registration is like fifty bucks every year max.
Is this a joke? If not, you deserve it moron.
>GIVE US MONEY OR GO TO JAIL
land of the free. Pay your registration next time you nincompoop
What do you guys think of my Chevy GTR?
>>14225608
Please...get out....
>>14225608
why the fuck would someone spend any money at all on that pile of shit?
>>14225993
i don't much care for many of the body mods for it, but I always liked the body style of that model of Impala.
Nothing else about it to make me buy one though, probably for the best.
Should I buy a car or a motorcycle? I live in a shitty neighborhood with nothing to do and need something to get me places aside from a shitty bus service.
So far as I can see it
Having a car:
>Pros:
>More social than a motorcycle, can pick up >multiple people
>Music
>Cons:
>A lot more expensive than a motorcycle
Having a motorcycle
>Pros:
>Save money on insurance, gas, maintenance, >and everything else
>Looks fucking cool
>Cons:
>Not as social, I can't say "lets all go somewhere" unless my friends have motorcycles or cars
I've never even owned a car before (I'm only 20) so this is all new to me, what do you guys think?
>>14225586
>Having a motorcycle
>Cons:
>>PEOPLE CAN'T SEE YOU AND IF YOU RIDE LIKE YOU DRIVE YOU'LL FUCKING DIE
Eat shit, fuck off and kill yourself fucking faggot
You can't ride a motor cycle in bad weather.
