Hi /o/,
I had my car booked in to an MOT and dropped it off today. I got a phonecall an hour later saying they were unable to do the MOT as the rear passenger door wouldn't open. Rather than pay the £120 they wanted to fix that, I'm sorting it out at home.
Of these though, what would you recommend definitely needs doing:
- offside rear brake pipe corroding £154.54
- centre exhaust clamp starting to corrode £79.18
- lateral bar corroded £121.72
They have also stated that there are some oil leaks. It'll cost £103.02 to just diagnose the source.
Does all of this seem reasonable? I could take it to another place if these prices seem a rip off. Any help would be great.

Mot tester here, those prices are extortionate. The lateral bar isn't even an mot failure item. Tbh they're taking the piss. Do you have family or friends with cars? Ask who they use, and try them. Most garages love it when we get customers recommending us to friends and usually go a bit further for people who are friends of customers as it's a chance of repeat business.

It looks pretty clean, but pretty much a combination of all the different luxury cars. Interior looks kinda like a rip off of the new GS interior. Front looks like a rip off of Audi/Ford combined. Back looks like a rip off of Mercedes.
Why can't the Koreans come up with their own luxury identity? I know they've kinda created a brand identity for their economy cars (albeit an ugly one). They need to do the same for Genesis if they want it to be a true luxury brand.

Truck wouldn't start, no fuel to rail.
It showed all the symptoms of a bad pump, so I replaced it, the relay and filter.
Still won't start. Disconnected the fuel lines and nothing comes out when I start it.
It still whines, but its a more high pitched whine than before it went out
Pls help ;-;
