Is God Hand's technique sound?
I consider God Hand to be the most skilled opponent of the series who didn't rely on supernatural force to compete.
The questions I have, however, are:
1. Is the concept of driving solely with one hand, with the other constantly on the shifter a more efficient technique if one is at an advanced enough level? Would forcing yourself to drive with one hand train you to steer more smoothly?
2. Is resting your hand on the shifter detrimental? I've heard conflicting opinions on the matter.
3. How does one cope with extreme turn angles steering with only one hand?
Is there any merit to the theory?

If you're really good at driving, can you be good if your car is FF? If Takumi had an AE92 or Civic or Mazda 323 instead, would he have done as well?
My friend told me The point of Initial D was that if your car is RWD, and you have the skill, you can beat anyone. FWD does not have this advantage and must depend on its specs more.

I always liked driving, and somewhere in my 3rd college year I started getting into cars. I have no idea why, just kind of happened. Prior to that I knew nothing about cars and couldn't give a shit.
7 years later I'm thinking about buying my first manual daily driver, either a Civic 1.8L 5 speed or a Scion iM 6 speed. Though I may miss the power my 235hp V6 Sonata has right now. Oh well, my first car was a 103 hp Celica piece of shit.

I have two options and need your help deciding.
Im going college next year and commuting so I need a car. I can either lease a 2016 Mustang ecoboost for 4 years or BUY an older GT (2007 or so)
After college I'm hopefully going to grad school so I wont be used the car much but I feel like it would be fun to have when I'm back on break or whatever. If I lease the newer car I would have to return it and wouldn't have this experience.
What would you choose? How are the older 2006-2008 Mustangs compared to the new ones? GT vs ecoboost specifically
