Same with Jim Morrison and a few others. Most of these are 60s icons
Hendrix
Iggy
I want /mu/'s honest, meme-free opinion about these guys and their music.
trash alice in chains ripoff with meaningless lyrics
They are bad
>>68641661
mediocre in an awful way
which came first
the musician or the music
I you consider string theory, perhaps the music. As a materialist it would be the musician.
>>68641946
That's the most incoherent thing I've read today

Someone became a musician when they played the first music, so it was a simultaneous thing of becoming
We live in a world where the harsh noise wall is considered by some to be music, and the world is filled with background radiation, the noise of the universe if you will. So the music came first.
can we talk about how terrible Twenty One Shills is?
>the ink
what does he mean by this
Not sure why they're brought up and memed here so hard. Pretty inoffensive pop music
>>68641412
the asshole with the red hat looks like one of those dodgy late-twentysomethings who still has the fashion sense of a 15-year old scene kid because he's trying to attract underage hot topic girls
considering that 21p are supposedly a lowkey christian band as well, it wouldn't surprise me if he was a legit reprobate
you ever walk in then immediately walk out of a festival before?
This is no big loss for me as I was at desert daze last week which was the best possible experience.

You did the right thing my man
You should have just gone to DJ Quik and then left.

>batshit crazy speaking in tongues in Peking O
>listening to the whole thing in one go
>SUMMERSOUNDERRVYYOUKNOWITSSUMMERTIME
>entire second half of Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop
Why arent you working on your magmun opus?
My next album doesn't come out until February and I don't want to start writing right away so I don't end up hating the album when it comes out.
Because I have to go to college and pay my bills and I have little energy or motivation.

A deeply pathetic individual. The fact that he was harrassed by that pigfucker Mike Love doesn't make the maudlin mess he made of his KKK rock 'n' roll any less unappetizing. Phil Spector's Wall of Sound with novelty instruments, and lyrics which are either inappropriately verbose or (when he wrote them himself) drivel about some ideal girl who's just his mommy. He's just this suburban kid patting his stomach after apple pie before going out with dad to watch niggers get lynched. Utterly without cultural worth.
Yeah dude, MP3s and 4s are cool and all. But me? Well I've always preferred to enjoy a nice, warm vinyl (:
