Here are some lyrics to a spoken word type thing:
You told me that whatever you were looking for, you found it in me.
That thing was everything, every feature of mine you can see.
“You're perfect,” you said. “Perfect perfection in every way God could arrange.
There's not a single thing about you I would change.
Except for that hair. It’s too messy as it is and you need to dye it black, push it back or flatten it down, tone down that energy and personality of yours, it's embarrassing for me. Not to mention you're not as hot as some of the other guys in my inbox, you know the ones I show you every damn week, telling me how they'd love to put their members in my exclusive club. And maybe I should open the gate.
But no. You're perfect. You’re perfect. You're perfect for me. No need to change.
Except for you schedule, always so damn busy. Why can’t you just quit a couple things to make more time for me? Stop that stupid music shit, I don't want to hear it. And trying so hard on those little movies won't make a damn difference. If you want to spend time on things you love then why not spend all time with me? Unless you don't love me.
But no. You're perfect. You’re perfect. You're perfect for me. No need to change.
Except for everything. Except for all the differences between you and my ideal you. Except for the fact that I don’t want you, I want my imagination plastered on your frame, my paint on your canvas, your shell filled with what I think I need and want, just labeled with your name. I don’t want you I want what I want you to be in the moment. I don't need you I need the idea of you in my torment. I don't love you but I don't know that it's not real, because what I think you make me feel is just what I made me feel reflected off your body.
But no. You're perfect. You’re perfect. You're perfect for me. No need to change.”
Or something like that.
is this copypasta?

No, I wrote that a few hours ago.
I know some of you will say this is cringe and lame, but honestly, I don't care.
Grace me with a new sight
Open the doors. Now the souls run rampant.
It's a devil in disguise.
We can follow… or fall. It's up to you.
Connect the distinctions.
Patterns are easy to see when you're fed broken visions all your life.
This is where trouble lived.
But not anymore. It has long escaped.
Please, come back. I have one more chance.
One more trip past the universe… to a place where stars grow.
Broken, forgotten, irrelevant. All that matters is that you can see me.
I'm waiting.
I might go away but I still will.
It's not fading away as it is drifting into obscurity.
Still here. You can still see me, but the face you knew yesterday might not be proportionate to the flesh that graces my cheekbones right now.
Everything's a fucking mess. I'll never deny that.
I want it back…
A fresh start would be nice.
But it's soon going to end, so why should it matter.
I want to go, I want to stay.
It's a fucking nightmare.
One more chance. That's all I'm asking for. Give me a step up and I'll fly away.
Give me tonight.
One more trip past the universe…to a place where life slows down…
to a place where light is a luxury…
to a place where I can find myself one last time.
One more trip past the place where stars grow.
Straight into the heart of nothing…nowhere…never.
Is pic related the only good Marilyn Manson album? I recently started to listen to his music and it seems i only like this album, tried 2-3 other too,but didn't liked it.Does he have any other good albums?

Antichrist Superstar is his best
I can't be the only person here that likes Tame Impala. They seem to be a pretty popular band, but I found no thread about them. Post your favorite songs by them if you do like 'em.
My favorite so far has to be "Nothing That Has Happened So Far Has Been Anything We Could Control".
SO COME ON SUPERMAN
SAY YOUR STUPID LINE

Tame Impala is hands down the best band in the world right now. They are not pretty good, they are pretty incredible. But more than just how good they are, They represent the first ripple in a massive change that we are about to go through musically as well as culturally. I think that over the course of the next 10 years we are going to see a sort of mini-renaissance similar to what we saw in the late 50s-60s post war. With pot and gay marriage soon to be legal federally its gonna be a whole new world. 2012 end of the world isn't the end of human life, its the end of one way of thinking and the start of another. Pot...cash...crop...money! As someone already said here on 4chan, The united states will be the only country in the world were pot is legal federally. We are gonna have jobs again, and money to burn. Money to spend on art and music. In a sense, a need will be created for GOOD art and music. Not something that is coldy manufactured by hitmakers. Tame Impala is leading the charge! They are proving that people CAN tell the difference between real and manufactured music! Im not saying Tame Impala are the next Beatles but they are making enough waves to make change. Moral of story, Tame Impala Rocks!!!! They (kevin park) are making real beautiful music that only happens when a talented person commits a lot of time to something that they are passionate about. Tame Impala is a real life "bedroom" band, they way it is meant to be.

Currents was 6/10 to me, Lonesrism it great to listen during a walk on the sunny day and shrooms. That's all I can say about them.
A 12-voice analog synth for under a grand. Will it be shit?
>Behringer
>>68628237
Depends on what you're trying to do. I generally like Behringer as a brand because they're cheap, and they're not terrible, but I record black metal, so quality isn't much of an issue. When you say under a grand, I hope you mean like under $500.
>>68628273
It's going to be $999.

Casio CTK-6000 is actually a pretty decent keyboard, and it's pretty affordable. I know people will tell you that Casio is a meme, but that's simply not true anymore. When Casio first came out decades ago, their products were cheap and shitty and they created a bad reputation for themselves, but they actually make quality products now.
I want to self-study musical theory. Until now, I've been playing guitar by using tabs, and using my ear, but I want to play piano, compose, and use Cubase. Advices for a better learning?
>inb4 sticky
>>68628202
learning musical theory for using Cubase, lol
How basic are we talking here? Can you read sheet music? If you can, google Tchaikovsky's harmony treatise. The first sections are quite basic and extremely helpful.
>>68613417
Help yourself, lots of material in op
>>68628394
>learning musical theory for using Cubase, lol
For composition. But I'd like to use Cubase for other things.
I'm able to read very basic things, but I've never practiced seriously. Thanks.
>>68628685
Appreciate it. Is this /comp/?
name one better interviewer, he actually says his honest opinion to his guests, unlike most other interviewers who suck their guests dick
>>68628196
>nigger
Instantly dismissed. Black """""""""""""people""""""""""""""" can't be good interviewers because their negro opinions don't matter at all.
>>68628228
lmao dude!

He was mean to lil mama for no reason.

Can anyone identify the chord progression in the intro?
First chord sounds like F Bb C D F but I've no idea what that's called.
shameless selfbump

Replace we exist or normal person with porno, and you've got a pretty swell album
I'm a noise rock fan and I've recently got into Swans. I listened to Filth and The Seer. Is there any other album in their discography that is pure noise rock like Filth? I liked the more theatrical album that is The Seer but I really prefer the straight up noise rock from Filth.
try greed and holy money
cop is probably what you're looking for though and raping a slave is their best only noise single
>>68628089
thanks senpai, I'll check those out. I guess these are their earlier EPs/demos?
>Is there any other album in their discography that is pure noise rock like Filth?
Try the Young God EP which is very slow and noisy.

Alternatively, check out Cop, Greed and Holy Money.
They've started making post-punk/gothic rock/post-rock after Holy Money.
Is this their most accessible record?
no that'd be Bottomless Pit or The Money Store
>>68627925
>accessible
>death grips
kill yourself
I'd say their most accessible would be Exmilitary, Bottomless Pit, and The Money Store in that order
I saw Swans yesterday and it was great and all, but what is it about this music that brings out such autism in people?
Some were unbearable, there was a guy right in front of Gira who I was I shit you not jumping up and down and flailing his hands full power for two and a half hours non stop.
>>68627894
>there was a guy right in front of Gira who I was I shit you not jumping up and down and flailing his hands full power for two and a half hours non stop.
I wonder what trip he posts under
>>68627894
people dance at live gigs, its nothing new dumbass
>>68627894
It's not that I don't believe you anon, but I couldn't imagine Gira seeing that and not having a word with him
Out of these 5 guitars, which one do I buy?
Yamaha pham.
What site?
>>68627802
Reverb, Guitar Center, Ebay, anywhere
The Yamaha 012 is made of Agathis, is that gonna be shit or just as good as Basswood?
Do yourself a favor and don't get a meme machine as your first guitar. The Yamaha is good enough

Your honest opinion on this band?
>>68627473
a bunch of faggots
>>68627473
The Hunting Party was pretty great imo. I presume everyone saying only thei first/second album was good haven't actually listened to it.
That said, I don't think much about them to be honest. They're not bad, but I don't go back to listen to much of their stuff often.
They can kts I don't care
>>68627473
Undoubtedly their best song
onegai de volta pra el redit
I think I've gotta agree. I'd love an entire album from them in the same style as On GP, but we'll never get one.
Oh shit Ride is about to stomp your ass.
What do you tell him to convince him not to?
