wtf is with that stupid synth that comes in on "I Don't Really Mind" halfway through the song, it doesn't fit the song at all. and don't even get me started on how shitty the lyrics in that song are.
There are definitely some cool songs on the album (alter ego, its not meant to be) but its no where near a perfect record that "saved rock" (just because it isn't Pop anymore doesn't mean it needs saving). Tame Impala is just Deerhunter for normies.

It's quite good. Be Natural, the singles and Ready for Drowning are really nice. They lost the plot on Know Your Enemy and then made Lifeblood which was nice enough.
