What's that one Car Seat Headrest song about regretting your life choices?
Also, what's that song by Death Cab For Cutie about being insecure about your relationship?

Nervous young inhumans?
Anyone know the Tonetta song that's really explicitly about sex?
What do you think he's like in real life, when he's not playing the character?
alcoholic
I don't think he ever really turns it off, he seems to be a total workaholic.

Reminder that she's planning to release a concept album that mainly focuses on fusing Electroclash, Shoegaze, Post-Punk, and Pop Rock while interspersing brief Lowercase/Microsound interludes throughout that are coupled with ASMR-inspired Sound Poetry. This will change pop music dramatically.
Reminder that she's a dumb cunt
Yup, because referencing as many different genres as possible is how great music is made.
Miley already tried that.
Still the greatest dance tune of all time.

I'm a post-graduate student in musicology who is normally well informed but a major gap in my insight is the new music coming out of the scenes beyond the mainstream (aka. the music you typically see in the Billboard Top 100).
What sources of music journalism or writers/vloggers would you recommend so I can correct this?
Cheers.

Only the lonely
Know the way you feel tonight?
Surely the poorly
Have some insight?
Oddly, the godly
Also might,
And slowly the lowly
Will learn to read you right.
Simply the pimply
Have some idea.
Quaintly the saintly
Have got quite near.
Quickly the sickly
Empathise
And prob’ly the knobbly
Look deep into your eyes.
Rumly, the comely
Will understand.
Shortly the portly
Will take your hand.
Early the surly
Dispraised and panned,
But lately the stately
Have joined your saraband.
Only the lonely
Know the way you feel tonight?
Singly the tingly
Conceive your plight,
But doubly the bubbly
Fly your kite…
And lastly the ghastly
Know the way you feel tonight.

That phrase really gets to me for some reason.
Guys. I am a Guitar Beginner. I have learned all the basic chords through Justin guitar. I am not able to play anything. I feel lost. Please help if you're a Guitar pro.
>>74779125
Just keep going, you'll get somewhere eventually. For what reason did you pick up the guitar? Hobby? Songwriting? What kind of music do you listen to? If it uses guitar and it seems simple enough, try learning it. If you really have learned "all the basic chords" then it shouldn't be that difficult to start learning songs. Try some punk rock or folk music, stuff like that usually has simple guitar work.

Learn to play blues.
play along some songs you like that are easy ( fwe and simple chords)
It's shit. And yeah, I do care to elaborate.
17 is a bad album musically, but let's take a look at it without listening to music first.
First track - "The Explanation". Do you know the filmmaker's rule "show, not tell"? I think the same should apply to music. I mean, this spoken word intro could be done alright, but it actually says one thing: only listen to this album if you're willing to LISTEN and UNDERSTAND, read: like me. This way if you actually dislike what you heard someone can say to you "bruh but did you LISTENED TO THE INTRO?" Fuck that and fuck you! I will listen to it and I reserve my right to dislike it.
Speaking of dislike: Some people here found that this album is way better then they excepted because they only thought of X as a meme rapper. I judge him as an artist. Period.
Next, the album's "concept".
The album's concept is X. Depression is not this album's concept. Depression does not sounds like the whining on "Dead Inside". Depression sounds like silence. Depression also does not look like hanging yourself on Snapchat, than getting mad when people actually believe you. And depression sure as fuck does not look like begging for likes so you will release your album. X gets some credit for not being the glossy-romanticized side of depression. Instead, X is "I'M DEAD INSIDE" kid who takes himself way too seriously.
And finally, the music: It's shit. It is not something you'd want to go back to. I had some hope at " Jocelyn Flores", but I knew I hated the album at "Dead Inside". When it's not outright bad, it's forgettable.
If you liked it... okay.
I know what it feels like being depressed. I am not a hater of X, he had some really good songs before.
But this album? It's shit.
2/10
"A collection of scattered thoughts" described thsi album pretty well kek
