The other one is shit up with political discussion, which seems completely inappropriate especially when discussing a genre as apolitical as Neofolk.

Posting my folder because it's full of lesser known stuff.
Also, with a heavy heart, I am selling my Rome demo on Discogs if anyone's interested: https://www.discogs.com/Rome-Rome/release/2797579

In case you are baiting for political responses, Douglas himself has gone on record saying that Roseclouds of Holocaust tells the story of a magical moment he spent on Iceland, looking up from a hot spring into the surreal rose-coloured sky as a storm approached, which he felt emitted a kind of "holocaustic" atmosphere, referring to the original meaning of the word holocaust as burnt offerings. The song, as most Death In June songs, is not of an explicitly political nature but a deeply personal one presented in an uncomfortably ambiguous way so as to allow for multiple partly political interpretations in order to make the listener question their own biased assumptions as they dig deeper into the phenomenon Death In June, trying to get a clear answer just to learn that acceptance of ambiguity is the intention at the very core of the project.
>tfw this board is infested by nu-males who unironically think the new Fleet Foxes will progressive and game-changing

Check out Wire if you haven't. Nothing really scratches the same itch that Wipers does though. Greg Sage is a god.
>>72110309
yeah that album is great but it is kinda more aggressive than wipers

Hot Snakes
Wipers are their biggest influence.
Suicide Invoice is the album that sounds most like the Wipers. P4k gave it an 8.8.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAE_h0S7ahk
Audit In Progress, is stronger but less Wipers-like. Spin gave it 5 out of 5.

My roommate's gf has been living with us around a year and he has been fucking her multiple times a day. and everytime they do it I can hear everything. Reminding them "Hey dude, I can hear all your grunts, screams and balls slamming" does nothing.
I've honestly become so jaded towards them and sex in general, I just want them to finally shut the fuck up for good.
Music for this feel?
play some harsh noise loud while they're fucking. Either that or elevator music

What does /mu/ think about this album?
I really enjoyed it, the raw screams were cool to hear since most "screams" use some tricks to not fuck up their throats, but it really felt like she put her heart into it.
The piano at times felt like it was off in some way I can't really explain, though it didn't affect my enjoyment.
it's great, i really enjoyed it too, one of my all time favourite punk records.
I love this album but I hate when I pull out my phone and the album art is just right there for everyone to see and I have to tell those around me I'm not watching hentai in public
