Artist whose best album is so obvious you don't even have to say it
>The Strokes
even some autistic redditfag knows what I'm talking about

the strokes
why you consider this piece of shit is music?
I tried to listen to 5 seconds of the first song but ended up getting my ears blown out
Is this literally your first time on /mu/?
It's not bad, but it's so overrated everyone ends up hating. Not sure how an average album at best ended up being called a masterpiece. Maybe because it was important for the genre? Idk, gay genre anyway.
>HONEEEEEEEEEEYY PIEE HONAAAAAAY PIEE
You guys unironically like this?
>>72104090
>HEEEY BUNGALOW BILL, WHAT DID YA KILL?
this is why the white album can never be the best, not even george could save it
>>72104090

it's the worst beatles song so..
yo /mu/ I am currently writing an essay for university on the construction of collective identities on 4Chan. Since selfdefinition/perception is the most important part of identities, I prepared a few questions and it would be nice to get some answers.
1. Do you visit /mu/ regularly (more than once a week)?
2. Why do you visit /mu/?
3. Do you prefer it over similar sites, if so, why?
4. Is there something like a board identity in your opinion?
(my understanding of identity below)
5. What does this identity consist of?
6. Would you consider yourself as a member of that identity?
7. Anything else you want to say?
Collective identity is understood as having two dimensions, content and contestation.
Main aspects of content are:
- identity defining norms and practices
- social purposes
- relationships to other identities
- shared worldviews or understandings of political/material conditions and interests
Contestation is the degree of agreement within an identity group over the content of the shared identity. It is an ongoing process that defines the content of the identity.
>1. Do you visit /mu/ regularly (more than once a week)?
yeah
>2. Why do you visit /mu/?
cuz its gay lol
>3. Do you prefer it over similar sites, if so, why?
no
>4. Is there something like a board identity in your opinion?
yeah, bein dumb and gay lol
>5. What does this identity consist of?
bein gay
>6. Would you consider yourself as a member of that identity?
bein gay
>7. Anything else you want to say?
bein gay
1. Do you visit /mu/ regularly (more than once a week)?
/mu/ is in my start tabs. I visit this site constantly.
2. Why do you visit /mu/?
When I first started, because I thought it was cool and all of the new music was interesting. Now I only visit because it's habit and I don't know where to go.
3. Do you prefer it over similar sites, if so, why?
What similar sites? /r/music doesn't count.
4. Is there something like a board identity in your opinion?
Yes and no, there used to be. The board identity is dead now though. Reddit, Tumblr, and /pol/ have all invaded and destroyed what little identity /mu/ had.
5. What does this identity consist of?
It used to consist of tripfaggotry and a war between indie and metal. It was honestly kinda fun.
6. Would you consider yourself as a member of that identity?
Yes and no. There's no point to holding on to an identity if there's nobody else that does.
7. Anything else you want to say?
You're probably really autistic for wanting to do an essay on 4chan.

That one or Psychopathic Records

95% sure that Kendrick song with U2 is just him sampling some shitty Bono chorus and it's not actually a feature and all he is doing is hyping his album up cause he knows it's shit.
Prove me wrong
>>72103206
you have a point
could just be bono redoing an old chorus as well to make it fit the song. Don't worry, if it sucks Fantano will still find a way to rationalize why it was actually a good choice or easy to forget about in the grand scheme of the album. He's good like that.
>>72103283
probably just a sample, I'm with OP
Post an album where the title track isn't in the top 3 songs on the album
I unironically miss the old Kanye.
Why can't he make good music anymore?
If The College Dropout came out today no one would listen
>>72103211
the popularity of chance the rapper proves that isn't true
>>72103143
Same man, if he dropped the ego and the auto tune I could appreciate him.
