The Scarlet Bond Between Father and Daughter
Presented by Sailor Otaku

During a high speed chase, Solbrain inadvertently causes a crash that sends the daughter of a high profile businessman suspected of illegally dumping chemical waste to the hospital. With an exceedingly rare blood type, only a blood airlift from the Red Cross in The Hague has a chance of saving her life. But the daughter of one of the company's many chemical waste victims has her own plans. Is she after revenge? Or something more?

Notes: Sorry about the delay this week. Seedbox is back up. This is one of two times the "rare blood type" plot will appear in Solbrain, both episodes are a little bit different. This one, written by Junichi Miyashita, is a good episode that delves into corporate dishonesty and responsibility. Much like Noboru Ogizawa, he also writes for other crime shows, including Detective Conan. He was also one of the main writers for GoGo V, so his experience with rescue action heroes certainly stayed with him.

Rh Negative blood types are indeed some of the rarest blood types, so rare that there is indeed an international registry in case of need, and people who have it do indeed wear medical ID bracelets so that paramedics can begin securing quantities immediately in case of emergency.

We have felt the effects of the previous Zeta poll for the past few months. Gone are the days of the countless Zeta bashing threads. Zeta threads have entered a new era of peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, people are still confused as to how they should feel about Gundam as a whole. I just rewatched Wings of Honneamise for the first time in a decade last night and the realization I had about pic related has left me feeling fucking empty inside, and I wanna see how other anons feel about the film.

I realized Riquinni was forced to become a prostitute to make ends meet. When she spills cash out of her boot and acts extremely ashamed as she gathers it up in front of Shiro - who later on makes an oblique reference to her being busy "working" all of a sudden - it's the money she earns by selling herself

It completely caught me off guard, I'd first watched it as a young teen so I just hadn't made the obvious conclusion. It makes Shiro's attempted rape of her right afterwards feel a lot less like a stupid twist for shock value also. He is disillusioned with society, doesn't believe in his life's purpose anymore, has a bad case of unrequited love, and then the one source of support he turned to - the one who had originally helped him find meaning in life - accidentally revealed that she's not as flawless as he thought and has had to make the same "compromises with God" that she convinced him were the source of all evil in the world. So he tries to take her by force out of lust and anger at her, only stopping when he realizes that he is literally part of the institution causing the social unrest that led to her situation and that he's just further hurting the woman he loves - before she knocks him right out.

Her apology to him for fighting back is now more heartbreaking as well since its clear she's filled with enough self-loathing for her own 'failures' that she thinks she's at fault for her actions. The tone of his final speech also changed for me hugely, since it's clear he's hoping for personal redemption just as much as he's hoping mankind in general can find it too

Anyone else share this interpretation? Or did y'all read it differently?

I could handle it if the premises wasn't so focused on the doctor shit and actually was about being a doctor without LOLVIDEOGAMES coming in and fucking everything up but as it is now is just shameless bait. Bait that shits up an actually good idea for a Kamen Rider at that: one who is a doctor, works in a hospital and saves peoples lives.

V Gundam is now available with a decent translation (i.e. no HK subs). Is there any one to rip it? The same goes for Gundam X.

Hi /m/,

It's been a few weeks, but we're back, with more than a few updates, too. As always, if you have a mech, pilot, attack, or ability you'd like to see in the game,
feel free to suggest it!

Don't forget to try the playtest, if you haven't.

Progress since last thread:
First round of balancing complete, currently being implemented and playtested.
First draft of region map complete
1st draft of dungeon concepts complete
All suggested pilots implemented
Most suggested mecha added to roster, currently being implemented and balanced
3 new animations added, courtesy of the Sage team on /vp/
Testing new healthbars
Minigames implemented
Slots, again, courtesy of Sage.
We can implement any of these immediately, just suggest ways to mecha-fy them, or at least changes for the aesthetic. There's definitely going to be a casino.


A version of the playtest with about 130 playable Mechamon, stats, movesets and abilities implemented is next in the works, you'll be able to make teams
and fight sample trainers, and get a feel for how teambuilding works. Again, it's less of a demo and more of a playtest. It'll be a much longer version of the last playtest.

For the region map, the first name I thought of was Lactea, latin for Milky, like the milky way, or something. Ultimately the region name is up to you guys.
Route names are also up for grabs.

Otherdev and I thought up of the town names, we're feeling pretty good about them.
