You say this, but the whole point of discussions is that people can have varying opinions, and people are always going to ridicule shows they don't like and stand up for shows they do.
Looking at that poll, my favorite gundam (X) isn't anywhere near the top and that makes me indignant. However, rather than having a list to say "Ok, these are what everybody things are good and by virtue of that everything else must be bad", you're not only leaving out things that some people really like and others don't care about, but I'd rather have a discussion on why X Y or Z is a bad show than just say "well that's what everybody thinks so it must be right."
