I wish someone could translate these mecha artbooks for us

Too much fake science terms. It's hard.

Not really that powerful, this was back when like Photoshop 2.0 was out, so its full power had yet to be realized.

It's a glorified shooting gallery; IIRC you don't have much control over the mech's movement.

IMPACTO!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure we finished all the frames, even though some we rushed to complete it near the end. At this point we'll probably need another editor though. I'd take up the task but I don't want to get spoiled on the frames.
Pic related. Liked it due its story darker than most of the series. Also best mask design and suits.
Stop piloting Hygoggs
I appreciate you.
I thought I had Gundam Victory on my hard-drive as collection alongside other series but I lost it somehow.
I only finished first two episodes years ago and I quite liked the OP song.
I guess I will try to rewatch this series after downloading is done and enjoying it. Even though I knew the tomino killcount meme(same as ideon).
Name me a better mecha anime series than Goldrake.
Protip: Goldorak is still better.

But why?
Just finished Brigadoon: Marin & Melan. I loved this show, but I have a couple of questions for the /m/en here who watched the show to help clear up things.
1.It's assumed that after Lulu traveled back in time in the last episode, he ended up on Earth and disguised himself as a human named Aloma Makoto. What I don't understand though, why does he help Marin and Melan out? He was trying to destroy the world and "start everything anew" before he was defeated, so why is he suddenly a good guy after traveling back in time?
2. In the last episode, we see a bunch of humans on Brigadoon alongside Marine Cleis. It makes sense that there would be humans (or their close descendants) on Brigadoonbecause Brigadoon is supposed to be Earth in the futurebut how come we didn't see them at all before the last episode? Were they sleeping in ampoules or something, and if so, why?
Guys, I just had an epiphany about CCA that totally changed how I feel about it. I always thought Char's actions did not make sense (leading me to hate the film), but then it hit me - Haman Karn.
It was first hinted in Zeta that Char and Haman had some kind of relationship. This was likely part of the reason for the rumors claiming he liked young girls in CCA. - Not just Quess and Lalah, Neo Zeon forces would no doubt also know about Haman.
The reason why it charged my view of CCA is because just look at how Haman turned out. Char created a monster in her. It is then not as big of a stretch to believe that he could corrupt himself. Especially after being beaten and losing at Gryps 2.
Plus Unicorn was good, so I guess I'm cool with CCA now.

> This was likely part of the reason for the rumors claiming he liked young girls in CCA.
It's possible, but the reason given in film is enough on its own and doesn't require further plausibility. Which is that Char apparently talks about Lalah in his sleep, which is probably because Lalah haunts his dreams like we know she haunts Amuros. She's a bit of a selfish bitch really.
Go to bed, Gyunei.
>>15827658
>She's a bit of a selfish bitch really.
Yeah, and both Char and Amuro lust after the cosmic swan's pussy. So we've got one selfish bitch and two epic idiots. People complain about the characters in Evangelion, but c'mon these 3 are just as bad.
Hey, can I borrow a neutron jammer?
I need one for a thing.

Does /m/ and hard scifi not mix?
Stuff at the far end of the Real Robot spectrum can work in Hard Sci-Fi, it's just most Hard Sci-Fi is focused on
>muh human characters
or
>muh real world science and math
or
>muh mind expansion
These don't necessarily run counter to /m/ content but they tend to push it into the background, see all the threads about how mechs aren't practical because
>muh tanks
and
>muh gravity
On top of this most sci-fi in which /m/ stuff is the focus tends to give less of a shit about real science, and more about showing off cool robots, or
>muh horror of war undermined by the presence of cool robots
What good is Lazy Matsumoto for?
