Convince me not to buy an espada xl
>>30154075
its stupid big what are you going to use it for?
It's useless as an edc pocket knife because it's so big
It's not as good as a fixed blade of similar size due to the weakness of being a folding knife
It will sit on a counter collecting dust while your actual useful knives get used
>>30154075
well it depends, can you fit it up your ass?
please tell me this doesn't actually exist
this fucking mag looks so retarded
>>30154026
that one look like 75 round mag
Russia did make some 100 round prototype mag
>>30154039
>it looks like a 75 round mag
why the fuck would someone use that over the drum mag
>>30154026
You're probably thinking that's a rifle not a heavier barreled lmg where bigger mags make sense

Hello /k/, I'll keep it short.
I turn twenty tomorrow and plan on purchasing my first handgun.
After shooting dozens of rentals, I've narrowed the choice down to the following 3: Sig p220, H&K USP 9mm, or H&K USP 9mm Compact.
They are all sweet guns and I plan on carrying the one i buy until I at least get another from the list.
>>30153551
>twenty
Are you US? Because if you are you're going to have to wait another year hombre. If not, I'd get the P220 if you want a .45, or the USP for a 9mm (or if you want all 9mm recommendations, I'd suggest the Sig P226)
>>30153579
Shit twenty-one, my bad.
And the p220 is honestly my first choice. I plan on getting all 3 but I live in a cucked state that limits me to 1 handgun purchase per 30 days. Imy avoiding the p226 until I move back to a free state because the Cuckifornia compliant model is nerfed to shit.
Get the USP in .45
Then save up for one of these >>30153600
So what's /k/'s opinion on the Humvee's future replacement?
>>30153392
>So what's /k/'s opinion on the Humvee's future replacement?
It’s primary purpose is to soak the tax payers.
It cost a shit load of money yet is not as well protected as an MRAP and can’t carry jack-shit compared to a HMMWV, meaning both vehicles will still be needed, rendering the Oshkosh M-ATV pointless.
Money fo dem programs
>>30153392
I think it is the coolest MRAP in Arma 3.
Is chemical warfare the biggest meme?
It's never done shit except as a non-lethal deterrent for police actions or a way to kill tribals/civilians

Abu Snackman and his crew need to put their munitions into fucking compartments!
Canada's police become unarmed.
Canada's military is reduced entirely to SWAT levels of equipment. No tanks, jets, bombers, warships, etc.
What would happen?
Ignoring domestic weapons manufacturers blowing their shit, and NATO blowing their shit that its going to be a bit harder to arm or destroy some countries far off.
What
>>30153182
Canada would proceed shafting the USA's cock for protection as always

Let's end this retarded argument once and for all.
Is the Zumwalt good?
Does the stealth-ness make any difference since it's a giant ship?
How does it compete with the latest arlighe-burke 1v1
How does it defend itself again Russia and china?
>>30152978
>Is the Zumwalt good?
It's a decent piece of wooden shipbuilding. A worthy successor of USS Constitution.
>>30152978
>Is the Zumwalt good?
Yes.
>Does the stealth-ness make any difference since it's a giant ship?
When it has a RCS of a fishing boat, yes.
>How does it compete with the latest arlighe-burke 1v1
Arleigh Burke.
And a false comparison, they perform different roles.
>How does it defend itself again Russia and china?
The same way any ship in the USN does.

>The ship design includes an upper-section deckhouse (superstructure) constructed with panels and beams made of carbon fiber/vinyl ester skins and balsa and/or foam cores.
>Joe Pantalone, Alcan Baltek’s market manager, reports that Navy engineers selected balsa core because they learned early in their evaluation of composite materials that “the mechanical properties of balsa as a core material compared to its cost are significantly better than any other material.” Pantalone likens balsa, with its cellular structure of cellulose fiber in a lignin matrix, to the fiber/resin makeup of a composite. He reports that Navy tests showed that a balsa-core sandwich contained fire spread better than those cored with foam or honeycomb. “Balsa doesn’t burn very well at all,” says Pantalone. “Rather, it chars slowly. So it does a better job of insulating the opposite-side skin, unlike foam, which softens and transfers heat more readily.” Unlike honeycomb core, wood cells are terminal or closed in the thickness direction, he adds, so balsa requires no intermediate barrier material to prevent ingress of resin during infusion, keeping cost down and ensuring that the balsa core retains its low weight.
I'm assuming some of you are old enough to have lived through the 1994 AWB. What was it like? Was there an actual huge difference during that ten year period? Older fags, get in here. Tell us your stories.
>>30152717
Gang violence was a huge problem, and since gangs didn't typically use rifle, the AWB had zero impact. The Columbine massacre also happened during the AWB.
>>30152717
the 1911 was hugely popular since it had a sub-10 round capacity. everybody was making compact 1911s. people pinned fixed stocks and sawed off bayonet lugs and pinned brakes. magazines were stupid expensive.
>>30152717
During the AWB, I clearly remember watching lots of ninja turtles and having a turtle's inspired addiction to pizza

Berry pickers head thin like leaf of bitter tree they eat.
